Clients who "waste" condoms?
« on: 21 March 2013, 01:11:09 pm »
Is there anything that can be done about clients who deliberately waste your condoms?

For example. I had a booking the other week with this multi millionaire (who was a prick anyway). I had bought a brand new pack of 12 Durex... he went through six, not even coming in them. I was really annoyed, but didnt think it was my place to say, do you mind???

It would always be... get hard, take condom out, put condom on, go soft. Rather than let me give him oral and get him up to full speed, he chucked condoms away that had barely touched him like discarding a crisps packet! It made me quite angry as condoms arent that cheap and I just found it quite disrespectful he could do that.

There have been a few others who have tried to do the same. How can you stop clients "wasting" condoms if that makes sense e.g. throwing them off as soon as they have gone soft and not cum?

You could always just have 4 on display and when they're used say you've ran out.x
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

That's true. I guess it was a bit silly of me to produce a box of new Durex out with a client, especially since this guy was a bit of an idiot..

I buy all my condoms from the NHS Camden online store, and buy a box of 144 of each type.

I recently paid ?13.99 for x144 Durex kingsize and I got a box of x144 pasante dotted for ?11.99

When they are that cheap, they can waste as many as they want really (I swear some waste them on purpose), it's literally pennies.

Buy in bulk girls.

This.

Condoms are cheap whereever you buy them and even free from the GUM. Some clients require more than others and as far as they are concerned they are a customer and going through your consumables is not one of their worries, nor concerns.

Some clients go through a lot of condoms simply because they chop and change activities, others don't and it evens out in the end so no need for resentment.

Oh god that drives me crazy. I have a regular who does this to me all the time. By the end of the appt, the room looks like it's been raining condoms. And he is a serial texter, drives me up the wall. But he is a regular...

I might start telling him I've become a crazy environmentalist who is also scared of the radioactive waves my phone produces. Wonder if that wil work!!!!

I couldn't have put it better myself.

I go through several condoms in nearly every booking.  To me it's just part and parcel of the job.

I have on occasion got annoyed about the condom wasting thing and then had to give myself a talking to and remind myself that the things costs pence (or less in bulk) as other have said.

I think it's more the waste that I don't like, as I'm the sort of person who usually remembers to take her own bag to the supermarket or, if I've forgotten to take my own I cram as much as possible into each carrier because I can't bear the amount of packaging and rubbish we generate.

Same here - I think waste is always best avoided!

To be honest, though, I find it very rare that a client comes along who wastes more than one or two condoms without being open to the idea of oral/HR to finish rather than wasting the rest of his appointment time faffing about. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen anything like "Mr Multi-Millionaire" mentioned above, and if I did I probably would ask him whether he's donating any money towards environmental charities to make up for his personal contribution to the landfills!

Another option for clients who don't do well with condoms is to use a femidom. I've never used one before but apparently they've been improved a lot lately (no more "rustling noise"?!) so I plan to practice at some point so I can safely offer that option should it be necessary in future. Most clients would probably still choose extra oral/hand relief, but it's always good to have lots of options for them nonetheless.

Like condoms, they can be gotten for free from the GUM clinic next time you go for your checkup.

OMG!!! The first time I tried a femidom, years ago, we laughed so much trying to get it in that I fell off the bed!! Then it was like a Tesco carrier bag had gotten inside!  :o ::)

Luckily I've not had a client like "Mr MM" as I hate waste and would really feel like saying something. The fact I buy my condoms in boxes of 144 from Freedoms (Camden NHS) so they cost pennies each is beside the point, it's the waste that would boil my piss. Plus I prefer to be in charge of the condoms; I put them on and I take them off.
