You could say for them to email their phone number.

I do online bookings. Usually they phone me when passed screening. I give them my phone number first to build trust with.

I immediately get suspicious if someone says he can't text. I always check numbers with Ugly Mugs so no phone, no booking. I don't give out my address until they're parked up nearby so they'd be buggered without a phone..

Same here but I insist on a call and I get suspicious as to why some say they can’t call, I have had many say their speakers on their phone don’t work and all other crap, one guy said he couldn’t talk because he was at work yet he could send me countless texts about the booking, I can’t believe they think I’m going to bypass my security just to give them a good time! So deluded.
