I'm sure this condition must be horrible and distressing for the guy, BUT! We are not nurses or healthcare professionals and can't be expected to judge if it's contagious or not. I'm not good at this kind of thing and it would have put me right off. I think it's best to err of the side of caution, after all how many of us would have sucked or fucked him if they had been close to his dick? We would have turned him away.

I don't think that people who have obvious health concerns like that should expect us to ignore it. Some might say they shouldn't be seeing us at all. Without being experts we have no idea if we are at risk in any way, made clear by the mixed comments on here, some saying there is no risk and some saying possible serious risk. How can we know?

I would have been kind to him, it must be awful, however I could not have provided a service.

Ladies should not be put at risk by these men.
We can turn them away at our discretion if needed .I'd rather a pissed off stranger than an infection contracted unnecessarily.
They cant be responsible with their hygiene which is worrying

Had a guy last night with a rash around his arse crack, one one side of his groin & on his feet. He said he's been to the nurse practitioner about his feet & she said to put vinegar on it. Otherwise he said he wasn't aware of the other rashes  ::) & thought it was where he was scratching at night. So I'm thinking eczema or psoriasis. Said he'd had some stress.

I refused full service & did massage with Hr but made sure it was covered with towel the whole time. I'll be paranoid for a few days no doubt. Hope it's not contagious. It's not worth the anxiety to see people with unknown rashes.

In hindsight I think I could have sent him away with a harsh flea in his ear about lying about not knowing about the groin rashs. Very irresponsible to turn up asking for full service in that state.

Sometimes groin rash can be a version of jock itch ie fungal especially in skin folds. I have a client who gets hives if he eats dairy, and another had an allergic reaction to antibiotics.

Diabetic leg ulcers are not contagious, but you should not massage diabetic legs under any circumstances.

He's scratching because he's a safe place for fungus to grow.
I avoid touching the inflamed areas and don't invite them back. As I do massage I have plastic gloves handy not afraid to use them. And I cover fabrics with couch paper. I also bleach the floor regularly anyway whether their feet are infected or not. I don't fancy catching athletes foot. (I do escort as well and steer clear of those red areas.)

I agree, usually it's the Tinea fungus family that causes- jock itch, ring worm, athletes foot etc

Vinegar is treatment for mild cases but these guys are too far gone and most need antifungal pills like fluconazole. Because they ignore it and let it fester for years. Clients called it 'summer rash' and are in denial. I get a lot of these infected clients in summer when they get sweaty pants.

Bad cases pump out a ripe, cheesy pong with a hint of vomit undertones. I've suggested antifungal creams like Lamisil, but I don't think they're concerned. I don't bother now.

I remember in my teens trying the vinegar recommendation as well as live yogurt during my first ever attack of thrush, it was awful and didn't make any difference apart from delay me asking for medical help. My GP was thankfully one of the first prescribes of fluconazole capsules which cleared it very quickly.

Had a guy today covered in red blotches ranging in size. I asked him what it was & he said he'd been told by a doctor that it was an allergic reaction to medication. I flippin hope so because it reminded me of Leprosy.
