If you've only met him twice before though saying he's got 'deep feelings' for you sounds a bit strange to me  ::)

With my client, I've known him for over 2 years ... that's the difference! Things have grown gradually over time for me and him.

Yes you're right. I just don't get why he didn't give some other excuse like the time didn't suit him or something. Oh well, plenty more clients where he came from
