When I'm taking incalls in a hotel, I put my takings from the current client in the one place.  After, I'll remove some and hide it elsewhere, so it's not all in the same place. Sounds barmy but it's just on back up invade anything happens.

If I'm on an outcall, I don't leave my bag unattended. If I have to nip to the bathroom or whatever, the bag goes with me. If I have to go anywhere that means the client being out of my sight, the bag goes with me. End of.

Don't beat yourself up, learn from the mistake and don't let it happen again

Apart keeping an eye on the client/ your bag like a hawk, can anyone give their  opinion about booking two rooms in the same hotel one to store your things in and the other to work in? Also anyone who has done this please share your experience. Sometimes  the banks are far away or very congested traffic to get there.  Can anyone name some banks that have cash machines outside banking hours that accept cash deposits into your account?

If you are working from a hotel,  i would politely ask the client to step into the bathroom and close the door.  Tell him it will be just for a few mintues while you put his fee away.

Some hotels have safety deposit safes behind the reception that you can use although it's not idea if you need to keep depositing large amounts

But using two rooms would be very expensive I would imagine

Just don't keep all your money together , just leave the money they client has given you in one place not with the rest of your money
In hotel rooms there are always plenty of places to hide money

I'm always amazed that so many escorts leave the money lying around or in plain view of the clients , it's just asking for trouble .

Most guys that take back money are oppurtunist so if you remove the temptation its less likely to happen .

Hearing about it stolen from drawers, or handbags is not uncommon.

Yes, please stop doing this, as now we will all have to come up with new places to hide our money!

Typical anti social behaviour & a con man unfortunately.

Red flag no.1 Rushing intimacy "Apart from the fact that he started asking for my personal nr, being very open about his life, having deep conversations with me, I imagine it to be a load of made up BS"

Red flag no.2. Neediness & boundary pushing "he became quite cuddly at the end and took a long time to leave."

Red flag no.3.  Baiting you with feigned caring  "he brought food, was chatty, mentioning he'd like to take me out, help me out with my ad etc,"

Red flag no.4.  Winning your confidence with trust,"asked a lot about my likes, dislikes, again was very cuddly at the end etc I want to point out, he was nice the whole time, talked about his previous relationship, trust and all that." You mention trust a couple of times.

Red flag no.5. Confusion if it's too good to be true it's because it usually is & they have hidden agendas. "the guy confused the heck out of me, talking about trust, Jesus, and how he'd like to get to know me. (came to see me 3 times within two weeks)"

Sorry this has happend  to you. I won't write on a public forum where good hiding places are but i will PM you a little later. Never leave a client in the room on his own. However sometimes u just need to use the loo and can't help it. This is what I do.. .I take the money and put it in my bag.. If I need to go to the bathroom I take my bag with me. Once the client has left I remove the money from the bag and put it in a secure place. Also if your touring it's s good idea to bank your money daily or if you have someone you trust closeby leave it with them. Xx

Chatterly - thanks for helping me open my eyes  :FF
I'm hoping not to see this bloke ever again. I think it must've been the woman in me accepting all the 'nice' (fake obviously and I knew that at that time as well) words and gestures. I'm glad I didn't give him my personal details despite he asked for them on numerous occasions! The only thing, he must've known that I was aware about the missing money so why on earth would he try to come back and see me again? Wtf unless he thought I was plain stupid lol
Im going to be very careful from now on.

Last summer in Glasgow, I caught a client through the mirror in the bathroom trying to snatch back his money from under my computer but quickly stopped when he heard me grab the door. He wasnt sure if I had seen him so pretended that nothing had happened!!!! But I can only blame myself as I do know better and knew that I should not have left the room.

Sorry this happened to you. What VC and all others said is very good advice.

I sometimes hide money in places that are non-obvious but are in 'plain sight' and haven't had a problem yet.

I do this too if they get shitty id rather they had it back than get beaten up , I also split so if I'm seriously threatened I can give some after 'banking' but not all ! anyway I have a safe . most hotel rooms do too or security boxes , where they leave the room so you can put your 'watch/jewellery' in .

I use a PacSafe (type this word in google) and never had a problem.
