Client shortened booking and expecting refund

Had a client other day book for 90 mins and paid upfront by bank transfer...this was 2nd time seeing this guy the 1st time booked for 1 hr and after about 20 mins he said he was done and off he went... same thing this time, within half hr he had cum twice then starts looking at his watch and makes a point of saying do u remember last time I saw u I paid for 1 hr and only had a blow job and left. Asked him why that was which he replied I was done knew i wouldn't be able to cum again...so he then says I'm not gonna cum again now shall we just make it half hr gets up and gets dressed and says just transfer the money back to me minus the half hr! He had booked thru aw so wouldn't have been showing as available and I had turned 2 other guys away who had called asking to see me around tht time I expected to be with him.  I don't think I should refund him what do u guys think? hes just text saying I need tht money plz transfer it today and let me know when it's done...iv not replied yet thought I'd get some advice before I do

No, he doesn't get a refund because he decided to leave early any more than I would if I booked my personal trainer for an hour at 6pm and decided to sack it at half past, or walk out of the cinema twenty minutes into the film. He's a chancer and he knows it.

No that was not the deal unless you say it on your profile you offer refunds if they decide to leave early.

I only had this 2 or 3 times and i make it clear sorry you booked for that amount of time and i reserved it in for you and turned other bookings away to give you that time so if you are the one wanting to leave early i cannot refund you.

The only way they should get a refund if you decide to cut a booking short for example i had a 5hr booking once and the guy was a absolute nightmare i could not put up with him it was depressing and very annoying booking so i told him sorry but i cannot do the 5 hrs with you and refunded 3hrs and kept the 2hrs that i did do.

I would message him if i was you explaining he was the one who cuts it short not you.

I only refund if it suits me, and then often only to someone who has already spent quite a lot/had several successful bookings. I have often made arrangement based on that booking, even whatever I'm doing next if outcall I might have to hang around or wont be able to use the freed up time at short notice,

Cheeky fucker, personally I’d ignore and block. There are no refunds in this game as far as I'm concerned. I’ve been on an overnighter once where the guys girlfriend turned up quite early into the night there was no way I was giving him a penny back I had to make a great escape ffs haha. Don’t feel any type of way hun he’s a fully grown man who is free to book shorter bookings if he can’t last.

I would personally be concerned that he would contact the bank and try to report a fraudulent transaction. I think that's why he's tried it on. I've heard a few accounts being closed lately when the banks have found out you're using them for sex work.

For that reason alone, I would on this occasion agree a refund "as a goodwill gesture" but then I'd refuse any future bookings with him.

I'd rather lose a half hour rate than my bank account.

I’m inclined to agree with Voluptuous Curves.
It’s not worth the aggravation for a half hour’s money. Yes, he’s in the wrong but we are dealing with idiots half the time.
I rarely agree to longer bookings. An hour is plenty long enough.

A couple of years ago I had a client book for an hour and he came within 15 minutes as he couldn’t help himself. He made a real song and dance about getting a partial refund. I was really annoyed with him and told him I was keeping £100 and he could have £60 back but he’d better get out “right now.”
He threw his clothes on, I shoved the money in his hand as he left and put him on Client Eye.

I was in a hotel I use regularly and it wasn’t worth the hassle for £60.

Firstly no, he didn't deserve any refund at all, he knew he finished early the last time so if he hadn't learnt from that then that's his mistake.
This is the reason i don't like bank transfers, too easy for them to complain and try to get a refund.

What a awful idiot ! . To even have the nerve to ask for a refund is so ridiculous. I would report him on client eye and block him .

I would send him a very polite but firm message explaining that he was fully aware he tends to finish early and therefore should not have made a longer booking, that you normally don't do refunds if the client chooses of his own free will to leave early, but on this occasion you are willing to refund him his unused fee minus the 30 min and a small amount for admin say £20.
I would also advise that you will not be accepting any further bookings from him.

Not too long ago someone voluntarily sent more than the deposit amount, cancelled, wanted the difference back. Now this was fair enough but he had sent a lot of texts back and forth after making the booking and sending the more than deposit. He had already cancelled the first appointment with me losing that deposit, he knew he had been excessive and told me he was glad I hadn't blocked him (there had been a history of contact, usually wanting short notice, last minute evening bookings as well as exasperation from him). Although I had asked for a slightly higher deposit I had not asked for the additional he sent, then I had to spend time sending it back (obtaining his bank details, carefully setting up the payment).  He since made a 3rd booking sent deposit plus some extra for a video call, which he pushed for, lots of texts etc. Funnily enough despite a message on a social media profile I have the night prior, on the day not a squeak and nothing since. I am very firm on confirmation.

Anyway I digress but the refund is more time and hassle.

By the way I have had clients who book plenty of time, don't use it, insist on booking the plenty of time again. I set it aside so expect to be paid for it UNLESS the shortnening is somehow to my benefit, and then the refund would have to be easy.

I agree, although it isn't always that easy if you're not native British but that doesn't apply here.

I have four current accounts, all for different things. I don't take bank transfers and stuff like the above is reminding me why. Are the people who do using their main long term accounts for this?

Very true if that is his plan then he could do it anyway.  I personally would just explain why he is not entiltled to a refund. Even if he complained to the bank where is the proof it is sex work? I know PayPal you cannot use it for sex work and lose the account. Personally i would be more worried that bank transfers show up my real name to punters that is another reason i would not do transfers.

I would not refund. He obviously had the money in the first place. It’s not your fault he finished early. I’d lose money if everyone who finished earlier than the time they paid for asked for some money back.
