Is it best to ask a client to park around the corner? So people don't don't get suspicious of up to 6 cars on your street a day? The way the road is set out the only people parking on the road would be to visit my flat.

Yes. When I was working from home I made them park away from my house otherwise it would have drawn too much attention.

Gosh no! I'm on the phone directing them. They don't even know what street they're going to till I see them skipping along.

Nope many want to park away from the property, although I never forget the very few who insisted they needed a private, locked, off street garage. I was not able to provide this so they could not visit.
I had a lot more problems with allocated parking than properties which require parking somewhere separate anonymously.

I can't do directions but hopefully they will have Google maps. I always get lost.

Basically I could find three different roads get the postcodes an alternate between using them? Hope the client will have maps because I suck at directions. There is an asda but it's a ten min walk probably a little far

What I do is walk the route as if I am the client/visitor, then type it into a text.

I'm crap at directions too. I deal with directions of 3-5 minute's walk. Initially I walk out the route and rehearse it looking at landmarks as I go, then write it down as part of my script. So I know it backwards.

I do that too - when I got my London flat I walked there from all the tube stations within spitting distance so I knew how long it took, and looked up postcodes for all the nearby streets so I had something to dish out to callers. I also looked up some less obvious landmarks including a couple on my street itself that you wouldn't know if you weren't there.
As far as parking goes I would recommend the supermarket one first as punters tend to like them IME, especially if the street parking is unpredictable. You can always say that there's closer on street parking on X street too.

Do you not mind if they park outside your house or you give them directions from another location walking to your home

No, a couple of people have coincidentally parked just outside, and obviously regulars do, but it's such a small area if they follow my instructions they won't park far away. I'm not overly bothered about nosy neighbours as I often only do one booking a week.

I have never allowed any clients to park directly outside my home.
