Client left without paying. Help me find him!!
« on: 23 July 2020, 02:35:42 am »
I know the standard take the money first which I usually do but got completely distracted after a long day. He was meant to transfer using bank details but used the excuse of needing a card reader to be able to make payment and hasn’t.

I’m trying to find him as I think me turning up to his address will shock the hell out of him and will pay on sight, if not I will go to small claims for the £200 bill.

I have multiple pictures of him, found his Facebook profile (all private) , have his number and also know the area he lives in. I have already tried a few reverse image searches and a few basic find my number searches but I’m not very proficient with either of those so if there’s a good one out there please get in touch!

If there is anyone who knows how to find someone’s address using this information I would be so grateful. I think the best way is going through his company as I know he has his own. Even just by me texting and saying I know your company is called this and your address is this might prompt him that I mean business. Tried going through LinkedIn but couldn’t find him as multiple people don’t have a profile pic but if anyone knows how to find someone please do get in touch.

Also had a little idea of someone adding him for me on Facebook gathering some data e.g business name and can go that way. So get in touch if you’d like to help out! It’s such a shame when a client seems so genuine and you spend a considerable amount of time just talking and hanging out together then they go and do that. Let’s get this ****** !!!!

You continued with the service despite not being paid, and it was your choice to do so - it's a tough lesson to learn, but you can be grateful that you've had it now and you know you'll never do it again. He may even cough up eventually, although probably not.

Attempting to garner help here to threaten, harass and/or blackmail this man (which will mean the only person breaking the law is you) is not going to happen though, so locked.
