Im a indie, I think a lot of us are here chick. But I used to work for agencies in London, and their cut was 30%. However that was ten years ago, things have probably moved on.

industry standard i'm told is 30% but quite a few take 35%

yeah that was what i thought a least the 30%

My agency takes 30% and i know of other ones around here who take upto 40%.
20% is pretty good i would have said, stick with em

I paid 30% when I was with my agency and one crappy agency tried to poach me with the winning line "we only take 40%
