Unfortunately, I will not help because I have no idea how it works, but I have an additional question.
Is this app popular in the UK? Because I was wondering if it is worth using it in online transactions with clients?
-
not popular here. i just signed up to be able to take deposits when i tour the us as its very popular there

I've had US client pay me using Cashapp, they can select payment in GPB and at most, I think I've only ever lost out on a few pence.

It's the only app I could find that is totally anonymous, and I know a few people who use it.
DL - your card is just a manifestation of your account if it's a debit card, surely?

Yes, it works similarly to PayPal in this respect

I used it a few times (in the UK) and then my account got banned, no idea why.
I set up another account with a different card connected, and then, even though i had put an anonymous username and cashtag, it reverted to my real details, which I only found out by a client paying a deposit for his second booking and asking me '' are you still jane smith'' and telling me my full legal name.
Never again.
