i thought there was a section in the forum for tax topics but couldn't find it so asking here:

b easy on me please. this will be my first time using an accountant and im in a bit of a mess at the moment. im horrible at doing my own tax returns so i rather pay someone to do it. how much do you all pay for your accountants to do your self-employed assessment yearly? what's a reasonable fee to pay? give a range? im specifically looking for an accountant who specializes in doing escorts tax returns and who would be ok with noting down a different occupation than escort (if that's even possible). can b anywhere in the uk since im a touring escort anyway, and don't have a fixed place of abode so i would travel to meet him/her or do a phone consult if possible.specifically looking for someone who does free consultations. if anyone here has an accountant that you use and are happy with, and you wound't mind sharing the contact, please do.i dont know where else i would look and feel free to pm me if you don't want to share it publicly.

I am paying about £200.
I keep my own records and just give the accountant the figures once a year.
The accountant fills in the self-assessment for me and submits it to the Inland Revenue - yes, I could do that myself, but by doing it this way, they are available for any questions and available to give me a reference (which you might need if you get a mortgage).

You don't need to say you do a sexual service. Say you are a therapist, a counsellor, an artist, a spiritualist! Anything that works for you.

I am a qualified therapist so that works for me.
