I have a car but would never accept a car meet. It's too dangerous, how do you check the client is where he says he is going to meet you (loads of scope to be messed around), don't fancy explaining to a police officer that I'm a prossie with client  but haven't been working the street(I also understand that sex in a public place is illegal?) and I also know that having a client in my car, even just giving him a lift  invalidates my insurance - checked with insurer.

This is all aside from the fact car sex is uncomfortable and cramped.

Some women do it, I do not.

I do a lot of car meats and they work for me. The service offered are limited and will usually wear the clothes I am wearing which is usually a shortish skirt and heels, I won t  travel further then the large industrial estate near by, one of the local hotels or the lay-by on the main road, non of which are more the three miles away

PS originally posted in response to the thread quickies but moved by admin for some reason!

The reason was that it's a post about car 'meets' and not really anything to do with quickies. Glad that's sorted.

Ditto the above posts, so as we don't need multiple threads I've merged this one too :).

No I have never had a car meet but once did a mini bus meet  :) I knew the man well though and had no problem with that one.
I just could not meet an unknown man in his car and drive off to a secluded place. Too many things could go wrong  and I have never been asked by men I knew to do a car meet either in his or my own car.

I am asked now and then but always say no.

Car meets with strangers is more risky because many who do car meets use street workers. My point is that you know how unsafe it has been for them. Unless you can be sure he is safe don't risk it. I never do car meets. More of the stranger ones with least respect do.  A high percentage on ugly mugs about the danger. Doubt business men do car meets.

So called 'business men", whatever they are are no better or worse than any other client.

And I happen to have a good idea that men who buy sex on the street are from a wide cross section of society.

It never crossed my mind to post my latest post here, sorry

Hi Amy, I was responding to a post in Quickies were someone said it might be worth it for incalls but not for out calls, I was responding that if you work locally then it is possible to make them work and pointing out they can be less hassle. So I disagree with you but it is no big deal.

I also know that having a client in my car, even just giving him a lift  invalidates my insurance - checked with insurer.

This is all aside from the fact car sex is uncomfortable and cramped.

Some women do it, I do not.

I never thought about the insurance aspect, but then I suspect these that are working out of their houses are also invalidating their insurance, but guess that is a different discussion and Amy will be moving this bit of the thread :)

As for being uncomfortable, it can be especially if you get a MX5 or similar, but most back seats are fine and things like lorry cabs are OK, being small helps

Correct re insurance, however a house tends to be less likely to have someone crash into it, or be stolen or in an RTA. You also can't be on the road without insurance(if declined in future or quoted ridiculous amount). To me it's higher risk.

I guess your right, but 99.99 of the time your not using your own vehicle. In fact to date that was the only time I was asked to use my own car, that is why I found it amusing and posted it here, I thought most people would know this.

RE car insurance. I did ask on here once what people declared their occupation as, because there was no option for prostitute  in the selection of occupancy. In the end I put dancer but still wonder if something happens the whether the insurers could be awkward???

I did phone a couple of companies up and they never returned my calls. Went into a well known high street insurence company, they refused to quote.

I tell the insurer - I actually currently use it for several things such as commuting to voluntary work, college etc and they want to know all of that.

Some will not provide cover, many will and many find their own best fit category for the 'Escort' work.

After initially finding cover for home contents, I was refused at renewal as a result of the underwriter changing their policy in addition to a particularly bad combination of my personal situations. I no longer work incall, and the household insurance is in my husband's name, plus I now own the property.

Renting + sex work + personal circumstances = massive whammy risk wise. In hindsight I would invest the premiums in improved security, however that's not an option with a  motor vehicle.

I know this is veering a little off subject but am now curious. While I really should read policies more closely before signing (eeeek I had not realised the implications if accidents happen while we have a client in our car but thankfully it is not likely to happen to me) BUT what about the men who take escorts for car meets? Am wondering do they realise how disastrous it could be if they had a bump or worse in their vehicle and there is a pro in beside them. Do they just play innocent and say they are giving a friend a lift?   ???

Some vans and a lot of trucks have signs in the cab's saying that any passenger is not insured, however I am told that all vehicle must have third party insurance, whether the passenger is authorised or not. Some guys worry about being fired though and ask me to duck down or stay out of sight, can be quite comical sometimes.

As for business men, I am just as likely to be picked up by someone in a new Range Rover or Mercedes as I am by a van or a Ford Focus

My husband's car insurance (we have use of each other's cars) has my occupation listed as 'Escort', as well as the volunteer profession. He was just priming it off thus afternoon for his records.
