Pretty sure it was blocked there but you can access it via vpn. I use the zenmate plugin for firefox and chrome and they have an android app too.

zenmate is showing as available for safari on itunes but if it doesn't work with your version I guess either update your safari or install opera browser instead.. zenmate works on opera too. The basic version is free and there's no need to upgrade to the paid version.

With Zenmate add on you have 5 different free ip countries including UK and its easy to use.
Just install Opera or Chrome and add Zenmate to it.

Doesn't look like firefox will work on it either but they give some good advice on other options

It is possible to download older versions of browsers and stop them from trying to update themselves but I wouldn't recommend it since you'd be missing out on a lot of security updates.

Do you have a smartphone? Otherwise, as you say, maybe time for a new lappy.

thanks. I have a blackberry bold, but not the latest, like the first bb bold that was on the market years ago. Will any vpn work on this?
