I've said it many time Internet advertising has become sadly just like the newspapers

When I had my first website back in 2005 callers were polite , well mannered and had 99 percent of the time taken time to read my details / website ect   They knew what you did what you looked like

At that time I still used to advertise in the papers so the difference in clients on the phone and how they spoke what questions that they asked was very very noticeable

However in the past 3 years it seem that as more and more girl no longer advertise in the papers and on  websites those paper clients have  moved over to websites to find escorts

Now when I do viva st or trade it i have them both on different numbers to my main website number because you do get very different client sometimes from them.

My website if I get 10 calls then  8 out 10 of them turn up ( not saying that I do 10 a day )

Viva st / trade It advertising 50calls might get me 3 bookings a day etc

When guys call I give them all the details and the postcode for the lit up like a Xmas tree at any time of the year car park Cabot circus I'm literally 30 seconds walk from there
I send them a text with postcode of car park and st name and in the text I tell them to get to the round floor by the vending machine and lifts so that I can direct them to me easily

98 percent of them are fine with this

I have noticed a bit of a resurge of people reading, and being considerate, they are still there but swapped by "wer ru" calls.

Because of the number of calls from people thinking I'm in completely different locations despite never being based anywhere else, and some people thinking my town name is an area in London(or never having heard of it) I now ask them where they are.

At the time the booking is made I explain my procedure and I also have some of this on my AW profile and a bit on my website.

Postcode and parking details given, plus a text with some other directions.

Taken me 7 years to get this down to a T and had everything go wrong that can go wrong - I have given flat number, exact address to see if that works to then have various blokes ringing the wrong doorbell, parking in other residents parking bays, driving right past to then run out of change at a payphone, flag down a passing person to use their mobile, shouting into phones outside "Is it number x Ruth". Guys going to wrong end of town getting road names mixed up, misinterpretting verbal directions - thinking a landmark or first turn is not the one I mean so go looking for another.

What I've got to now works.

I won't give them the full address until I see them outside. There is no point in arguing with people who won't respect this. I will give the street name and postcode. That is more than enough for any client to find 99% of places - anyone who insists (especially rudely insists) on more than that is either a) over paranoid type who moans about being "let down before" and is over-picky - the type who brings a print out of your profile to the appointment to verify and check the scenario in his head - yes it has happened  ;D , or b) up to something dodgy. When they text on arrival I give them the flat number and then look out to see them approaching (and make sure there is only 1 guy - I can see the whole street from my window), then when I see them I text the "press buzzer blah blah, go upstairs ..." details.

I get sick of repeating my general area to all the "where are you based" enquiries as well but I just see it as a necessary evil of running a business of sorts. Some guys are nervous on phones and don't know what to say on first contact, so they will repeat stuff they already know - I know I've done it - I recently booked at a salon and asked what street it was just to reconfirm even though I already knew! I just act polite and say it as nicely as I can muster. I draw the line at any sex chat though.

If I didn't have onsite security - as in working with someone else or someone else on the premises - I'd be very reluctant to take an appointment of anyone who pushed for the full address - unless it was obvious they were just a newbie and did not say it in a pushy way at all.

When I have had onsite security, if someone demands the full address, I just give them an address somewhere in the street (just make it up!). They think they have the full address and set off. Obviously I ask them to text before they buzz the doorbell. So when they text I reply "oh sorry made a mistake it's actually {and follow the normal procedure}". Doubt they are going to turn around and leave when they have travelled. I would stress though that I only do this when I have security of someone else with me - I would not recommend to do it whilst working alone.

I don't give the full address either. I give them the postcode and street name of the parking opposite to me or if they are walking I give the street name and postcode of the hotel in front of my apartment. If they say they are coming by bus I direct them from the bus station. I have been caught out giving the full address before and they haven't turned up, this then makes me feel very uneasy.
I have rarely had a problem with this approach but I absolutely hate it when cold callers ring and do the 'whats the address thing?.'
I always say we will talk about this when we have agreed a time to meet, I think some blokes assume its like a parlour or something like that.

I just booked a guy in for 7:30.I asked him clearly to ring me when he is in front of my landmark and I will guide him to my apartment just round the back.
As the phone call ended he said 'Can i ask....is it an apartment and which block is it....' yet another who doesn't listen or chooses to ignore what was just said to him.I'll bet a bag of beef Space Raiders he pulls a no show.

Well he texted saying he was at the landmark and could he have the full address....I had told him to ring.I ended up ringing him and half way through me directing him he started asking me for the door number.I told him I would give him that when I was sure he was at the right entrance. He put the phone down on me and I guess he has buggered off.I will not give out my full address like that as there are several doors guys can go through which will take them to the wrong flat. And if a guy can act like such a bell over the phone I don't want him as a client.

Frustrating when you get a text, I clearly say you'll need to phone. A lot easier for everyone.

Its almost like some guys decide that they will do what they want to do even when things are clearly explained to them.
His excuse was that his phone speaker is knackered.Yet he knew when he first rang that he would need to ring me and be directed.I can't work out if he was new to it all,an idiot or actively address collecting but he is now blocked on my phone.

I have a video intercom on my building so I can see who is at the outside door when buzzing. For this reason I ask guys to get to a specific location literally next door and then they are only 15 seconds away from me, Im city center. I do tell them to phone me from that location and then I give them my door and buzzer number. What annoys the hell out of me is when i get no buzz then 5 minutes later there is a phone call asking what floor I'm on from INSIDE MY BUILDING or worse even, a knock on my door. I want to see who is coming into the building when I buzz them in, I dont want guys being let in by my neighbours then just turning up as you dont know who is standing further down the corridor.

What makes me really angry is when they lie and say that they did buzz and I "must of let me in because I buzzed your number"?I get huffy in silence then at the end of the booking point out my issue. If they have an issue with it then tough, its my security thats at stake x

I really, really hate when they follow another resident inside!

It was more of a problem at my previous location as that building was much bigger and had more people going in and out.

I am pretty rigid about my routine. I will give the address once a booking is made - and it's close to the time of the booking, as it's a big anonymous building, but I insist that they call me from just outside the door. I don't want to speak over the intercom system because I don't want other people to what I'm saying.
