Breath Play Suffocation...?
« on: 01 April 2010, 11:35:15 am »
A prospective client has just asked if he could have a session of this with me (and also give me "a big orgasm with breath play". Before I reply, am I right in thinking that this is the practice of taking someone/yourself to the point of passing out (or death, if you get it wrong) to heighten the orgasm?

breath play is bloody dangerous if the person doing it is not extremely experienced.  Unless you can be sure he knows exactly what he is doing I would avoid it completely.
Unfortunately too many people play at being a master nowadays when they dont have a clue what they are doing and have seen it on porn and want to have a go themselves.
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact

Not necessarily to the point of unconsciousness, but yes.

You have possibly found the stupidest person on the internet today: him asking you, someone with no experience, to do it to him is bad enough, but expecting you to let him do it to you...

'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Oh god. He's either really stupid or really creepy.

I've done it with a couple of boyfriends - in a mild way by restricting my chest or throat - and I was surprised to find that it was actually pretty great, but a random client? Fucking hell that's not right.

I don't know why he picked on me - I don't even imply that I offer or enjoy this kind of thing. Unless he thinks that "face sitting" and "smothering/squishing" is the same as "suffocation" - yeah, okay, I know it's SIMILAR, but in sexual terms they're DIFFERENT, IMHO. Unless I have my terms confused...?

Smothering/squishing = being squished and engulfed around face & head, usually by a larger lady's flesh?

Face sitting = sitting on a person's face, either with bottom or pussy?

My other clients have seemed happy with the service I gave.

Even so...for him to want to suffocate me - that's just fucking creepy.  >:(

I've never done or had done light strangulation, and am highly unlikely even to do so in this context.

How did it compare to hanging your head over the side of the bed? The effect is supposed to be similar.

I don't do strangulation either, so I wouldn't know :o

Although I have hung off the side of the bed during sex and orgasm, and that just feels like my brain's going to explode and leak out my ears and pop my eyeballs out. Ew.

Not the same. Having someone a bit weighty full on top of me is similar though, so I suppose it's the constriction that does it for me. I've never tried to pair it with an orgasm either, I think it would just get in the way.

I'm perplexed by what some guys will want! David Carradine supposedly died from auto asphyxiation going wrong.

I consider myself to have a reasonable amount of experience with regard to breath play both giving and receiving. IMHO this is something that can only be done by two people who know, trust and can read each others reactions to a fine degree. Therefore it's something that I would neither give to a client nor receive from one. The line between exiting and deadly is a very fine one. To put it in context the only person I would trust to do it to me would be my long term partner.
This guy in my opinion is either one of those fantasists who will never turn up and sit at home masturbating at the though of doing it to you or a very dangerous man indeed.
Please stay safe and steer well clear.

This is a very timely post for me, as I had a boyfriend do this with me yesterday.
I passed out, 2x. I lost all sensation, sexually. I cannot fathom how this is a turn on to the "stranglee", you're OUT OF IT!
I wouldn't recommend it. Strongly.
Cheers from Canada!

That's why it's important to know what you are doing, lol, 'the strangler' is supposed to stop before the stranglee passes out. The main point I gather is to induce lightheadedness and an adrenalin rush, which is supposed to intensify the orgasm.
