a question about housing for incalls
« on: 26 March 2013, 11:31:51 am »
Hi,

I'm currently looking for a flat to rent to live and also have incalls. I found a lovely flat but it's like 20 minutes walk from the nearest tube station.

Do you think this is an issue for most clients? I personally think it does add uncertainty as to if they might get lost, or if it will take them a long walk to get there. Being this a kind of luxury service, or at list in terms of cash it is like, it might be an important element for clients to reconsider a booking.

What do you guys think from your experience/intuition?

Your opinion is very much appreciated.

Thank you,

Diego

Hi Diego,

IMO how easy it is to get to you is a major factor in how much business you'll get. If a client has to choose between two escorts with all else appearing more or less equal he'll most likely choose the one that will involve the least hassle to get to. I'd recommend as central as possible a location and as close as possible to the tube. Will mean you'll probably have a much smaller and more expensive flat but it will make a big difference to how many clients you see.

good luck

Hi
I think a 20 min walk might be a turn off for some Clients. I like being able to confidently say 'Five mins from Zone 1 Tube' (or whatever) and I'm sure it helps increase the numbers.

Yes but then you get issues with guys no being able to park if too close to station.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Yep, 'it depends'. If you are near a major road, it's not such an issue compared to being 20 minutes from anywhere with not even a bus route in the right direction.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Thank you so much guys. That's what I thought but I needed to reassure as often we give things for granted that are actually only a personal opinion.

I find in Central London the only people who drive are the ones who already know exactly where they can park and at what times. They tend to Plumbers, Electricians etc - parking in Zone 1 isn't a game for amateurs :)

I find Adultwork doesn't work in Central London though!
