Hiya everybody.
I would like to ask. Who works according to what system, receives guests.?

 - Appointment, and booking.
 - Or do you accept the one who arrives sooner?

Depends on the place or what’s happening on the day.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I can't imagine working without bookings - it might work if you just want a high turnover for a day or two perhaps?

I work by appointment but I have a friend who does 'first come first served.'

I prefer to take appointments but not too far in advance.

Are you concerned about no shows?

I use an appointment system as most of my regulars like to book in advance and it works for me. If I have my green light on on then if I'm free it is first come first served.

I work by appointment but  I became insecure  because in the last two weeks guests immediately hung up If I couldn’t to receive them right away

Most guys who want "now" tend to be timewasters, they probably don't even know how far away you are.
My take is that if they are so disorganised then they are probably not the kind of client I want.
I refuse to sit around all day on the off chance that some guy may want to come see me "now"  I'm too busy with other stuff for that so they need to sort their shit. Don't beat yourself up about it.

I only work by appointment.
Advanced bookings preferred, I like to know my schedule.
Can I kindly ask how first come first served works ? Are you booking in a few guys for their same time ?  ::)
Again , if that’s what works for you then it doesn’t bother me , but I know that if someone booked me as their plan B or C and cancelled last minute because they had their plan A agreeing last minute, I would be right pissed off ! So going radio silence once first client showed up and the other 3 guys are hanging around expecting to be seen , does not sit right with me  ::)

If l am doing first come first served l am honest with the guys and l tell them that is what l am doing. Then they know they may have a wait.

Yes I am wondering as well. Do you guys actually give out your postcode to 2/3 clients at once at just see whoever turns up first? And if so do you keep your phone on in the booking so you can tell the others to wait/fuck off?

I could never do this it would absolutely shred my nerves having men outside like that!

Or do you mean that you just take on-the spot bookings without them having booked in advance. I do this occasionally if I have a gap to fill before or after an advance booking but they still have to tell me what time they will arrive and book properly even if it's only an hour away.

When I do first come first served I mean if a guy phones up and I'm free that time then he can see me.

I never book more than one guy at the same time.

Always by appointment, never been suitable to just have punters or clients coming to the door without an appointment.

Same for outcalls, I need to know where, time, duration, as well as any other requests.

This would totally shred my nerves too.
My friend does often have more than one client turn up at a time but she does tell them to just come over but that someone else is on the way and she will see whoever arrives first.
I'm so tight on my confirmations that I know if they're not going to show. I often have a reserve list too. I would be rocking in a corner with a straightjacket if I did first come first served.
