Body changes at age 40 - worried I'm losing vaginal tightness
« on: 12 September 2023, 11:26:01 am »
I have posted about this before - but it is getting more extreme. Basically, my vagina is getting wider and slacker.

I'm not menopausal and I have seen my GP (unhelpful male) who basically says it is part of being human.

It has struck a nerve with me because I have had a regular comment (wanted me to not use lube so he could "feel something" and it has been mentioned in online reviews of me.

I'm not overweight and generally I'm healthy. I did show my condition to a female friend who is the same age as me and she agreed that I'm big in that respect. I looked at hers and she has a tight opening (she is not a sex worker but has a very active sex life). Same conclusion if I look at porn - I must have Dartford tunnel version of a vagina. Maybe I got it from regular sex work?

To put it in perspective, in an unaroused state, my vagina is about 3cm wide and it gets wider if I'm aroused. If I insert a penis sized vibrator, there is no resistance and if I insert it standing up, it just falls out, I can't grip it (unaroused).

I have tried various kegel things and even bought a trainer set of dildo things - but no change.

Has anyone used exercises or even had surgery to improve things? How much £ for surgery?

Have you tried the electric pulse ones? They are amazing! If I turn it up too high, my leg muscles starts to spasm 😂

Kegel8 Ultra 20 is brilliant and it does make a difference.

Thanks for that advice DanishPia :)

Kegel8 looks complicated but I have taken a decision and ordered the Kegel8 Tight and Tone for £100.

I just need to have the discipline to use it regularly and keep in my routine - it says it needs 12 weeks to really work.

Should have me improved by Christmas!

Great 😊

I use it in bed in the evenings whilst watching tv.  It is important to use it regularly, especially at the beginning.

I am going through the exact same I’m 33.
I paid £400 for hifu vaginal tightening. Waste of time never made any difference
I’m going to try the kegal8 and see how I go with that.

This happened all of a sudden I noticed I felt so loose. I can’t understand how. I’m getting paranoid as clients don’t come through sex they always say can we finish with oral.

But with what I’ve read things can definitely be tightened down there will let you know how I get on with kegal8 x

I don't think having a lot of sex, or sex work makes any difference. If anything it improves the muscle tone. I had to take a break for a few months when covid was on. Not because of covid, but I had to look after a relative. When I did return to sex work it took several weeks to get back into the groove, which was a big surprise. When you do it regularly and especially high volume as I do sometimes, everything becomes well toned and easy. Something changed when I was off work, but thankfully is now back to how it was before.

I wouldn't even think about surgery. What is important is deep inside, and AFAIK surgery is basically only cosmetic. What is really good exercise is rowing. I used to do it a lot during the summer and it tones your lower torso and tummy like nothing else I've ever done.

Also don't listen to what men say about lube. It's the movement and light friction that stimulates them, and I always preload with lube before a booking. Just enough so that it slides in easily. The feeling of movement does the rest.

what about hormone therapy? I recommend a mixture of vaginal cream and oral medication. I even use a bit of the vaginal cream for my face. sounds funny but true.

Rowing is great unless you get a prolapse which happened to me some years ago and why I discovered the Kegel8. Apparently very common in women who have gone through childbirth (10-15% of the vaginal wall muscles gets damaged per child). I had to stop all those lower torso and tummy exercises as the abs push down into the pelvic floor and make the prolapse much worse. I do different exercises now for the stomach.

I was always curious about the hifu vaginal tightening but couldn’t have it done due to having a prolapse. Expensive for something which doesn’t work!

I felt the difference after 2-3 weeks and so did my partner at the time. I always use the 1 hour programme. I use it occasionally now, I can usually feel when I need to. I hope it will make a difference quickly for you too x

Can it be used sitting upright?

Some girls are bigger than others..I'm super tight despite being very active. i do 100 kegels daily. I don't think the increased slackness is down to sex, more likely age related. Glad the electro machine is working,x

I would advise you to visit a gynecologist or a cosmetic doctor specialized in the vaginal area.

I have been working for 10 years, I have children, and my vagina is still tight. I don't think it has anything to do with work, it could be more due to age or perhaps a hormonal problem.

Vaginal rejuvenation surgery is great I've heard.
