Blur or Crop
« on: 23 March 2012, 06:28:55 pm »
Ladies

To those who value and need discretion in your life and do not show your face on your website and ads which method do you prefer to adopt on your pics

Cropping or blurring

If cropping, from which point do you crop to be fully unrecogniseable to someone who may know you, below the nose?

Blurring - Ive been told there are anti blurring programs for the really creepy clients out there to unblur your pics

SO is it not safe to blur.  I do not want to be recognised by friends, family, work colleagues in real job, boyfriends etc

SO I will not show my face fully

If someone else is taking the photos for me I ask them to make sure my face is out of focus or out of the shot at the very least, looks so much better than cropped or blurred photos  :)

Crop everytime - from neck downwards.

There is readily available unblurring software and I won't take risks.

It's as simple as that for me and potential clients asking for face pics get a straight forward no answer - they still visit and aren't disappointed.

It's currently only some blurs which can be undone and, typically, only individual ones (i.e. doing one sort followed by another is safer).

But, as a favourite film quotation says, why take a chance? You can't unblur what's been cropped or is covered by a mask or...

Cropping all the way, like you thought, maybe best nose below.Agree once unblurred always that, why gamble of the outcome while you know the safer option
Best luck
