Is he a regular? If so, maybe. If not, no chance

I am having a slight moral dilemma this morning though I travelled to a booking and he didn't answer the phone when I arrived, nothing new there happens from time to time BUT he had already paid by bank transfer beforehand when making his booking. Should I refund minus my cancellation fee or not? I don't believe I should have to as I went out at 4AM and it's not my fault he fell asleep or whatever BUT I didn't technically provide the service booked so maybe the partial refund would be the best course of action. What do you all think?

I would keep the money for your efforts x

Hell no. You went out at 4am!

There's a good chance he'll reverse the bank transfer, though. If it's possible to do so. I'm not sure how those things work.

Thanks ladies for your input I knew I was right but it is true that I didn't perform the service so thought I would ask your opinions. Anyway I decided to keep it in the end for my trouble and haven't heard from him since so maybe he was too embarrassed to call back when he was conscious/sober.

Bank transfers are non-refundable nowadays without a lot of effort anyway and I checked my account for any hint of this being a possibility (moved the money into my everyday account obviously) and there was none so guess he's chalking it up to weekend stupidity.

I guess the bank transfer helped with the choice still.
