'Casting' for agency [name removed]
« on: 13 October 2024, 04:09:05 am »
Has anyone had any experience with this agency in London? Been invited for a ‘casting’ by the owner which is a male - location to be emailed a few days before the casting date, Website seems perfectly fine although rates very high.

There's a 99% chance that "casting" means "fuck some scammer for free".

He's put up a tempting website - 'Look! Earn all this money!' - in the expectation that even one woman is going to turn up and, 'just to see if you're good enough for my agency', fuck him.

If you want to go along, it's up to you.

But the basic rule of Get The Money First applies to "casting" as well: treat it as a booking and you don't take your clothes off, never mind fuck him, until you have the cash in your hand.

You can always phrase it as 'if you won't pay £££s to fuck me, why do you think anyone else would?' :)
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Having looked, there is an agency that appears to have been around for a long time with the name.

If this an unsolicited email / text / etc to you, it's someone using the name in an attempt to get laid for free.

If you found the website and approached them, it does say "We hold castings regular (sic)" to check that the photos are of you. I'm still not sure why it calls that "castings" though...

Even though the name has been removed, I know what agency you’re talking about. Yes he’s been doing casting for years. I have been to one with my friend.

Asks you basic questions about your experience and availability.

Personally it wasn’t a comfortable experience for me.

You definitely don’t fuck him lol but you’re in a waiting room with a room full of women who want to be on his website. It seems very competitive and like everyone is giving you evil eyes. My friend was accepted on his site and she told me he gets pissed off if you don’t accept jobs. If you cancel a job or don’t want to do it, he will remove you immediately.

I’ve been doing this job a long time and there is really nothing special about being listed on his website. The fancy website and high rates are just selling you a dream. Commission is 40%, so he’s taking nearly half of what you’ll earn. Don’t bother going if you’re going to be below £600 per hour as you won’t be accepted.

Let's see, 40% of £600 is £240, and you don't even get use of an incall place for that.

There's no sign of them being registered for VAT. It's not mentioned in the T&C or as part of the "membership" fee that gets "members" seeing escorts' faces, for example.

With the VAT threshold being £90k now, that means either..

.. the agency gets no more than 374 bookings a year - only just over one a day! - between the 76 escorts currently advertise. (It's probably way less than that given £600 is low for the site too.) ..

.. or ..

.. it looks very likely that they're guilty of failing to register for (and pay) VAT.
