No, only if the hotel knew you were a hooker and the police could prove it, I.e the police inform them of prostition and they allow you to continue working then the hotel or landlord could be charged as they are making a profit knowingly the money is coming from prostition.

Ah, I see. So what would happen is the hotel would just ask me to leave etc :)

Yes they ask you to leave, but you don't leave until they refund you for the remainder of your booked stay.  Some will try it on thinking you will leave quickly, quietly and embarrassed.  But stand your ground, I been kicked out of one in Scotland.  They checked me in took my money, I got as far as the lift hadn't even seen a client.

I refused to leave until they gave me a full refund and i got my money.

Once I got my money back and once I didn't from hotels.

I never got my money back from an apartment and the owner told me that legally he didn't have to as unlike a hotel, he couldn't re sell the apartment.

I think with hotels, they have to refund but I'm not sure. Last time it was too embarrassing so I just left. They only gave me and my friend 15 minutes to pack and we had been moved to that hotel because the one we were supposed to be staying in had caught fire the day before we were meant to check in, so if we'd ballsed it out I think it would have been too complicated as the the hotel we were in was a different chain to what we had booked.

I tour alone now and wouldn't tour with anyone else. Too much trouble and it draws too much attention plus I'd worry now that doing duos would cause more trouble in a hotel.

So if I use a hotel room, the hotel owner and myself could effectively both get fined and get criminal record for managing a brothel?

You wouldn't - you don't control the place. In practice, the owner wouldn't get into trouble either unless they were incredibly blatant (see the ad from the one in Brighton...) and were somewhere where the police were into harassing everywhere they know about.

So the only way to not get a criminal record for sure is to work from your own place solely or go to men's houses?

It's not a crime to work in a brothel, just to own or manage one (or allow one to operate in premises you control).
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Thanks Ladies, I was thinking of allowing a few touring Ladies to share my place for saftey and costs, but after reading this I have dropped the idea and asked the moderators to remove my post on "Offering/Seeking"

PS - I read somewhere that Landlords are allowed to rent to an "escort". I think the problem os when it becomes multiples.

Sorry to be a dim wit, but does this mean duo bookings are illegal during an incall?
