Hello you lovely people,

Nina and I are planning a tour to Paris shortly and we were wondering whether any of you have experience with advertising online for sex work in Paris/France?

Here in the UK we advertise at Adultwork.com, in Ireland Escort-Ireland.com works very well, but we have never toured/worked in France.

Any comments are very welcome!!! Also, in terms of accommodation we are planning on hiring a managed apartment or a suite/studio. Any tips or even addresses?

Hello, I am new to this forum, so I'd like to say hello to all you ladies  :D I am very glad to meet you all.
I am very new to this business, but for school reasons I might have to move to Paris. Of course I speak French, but when I started looking for agencies, I felt discouraged. Most of them look unprofessional, and the escorts who posted on some French forums and talked about starting put as escorts seemed full of guilt and ashamed of themselves. I nearly cried because I felt extremely sorry for them, but I also started wondering how this industry actually works in France. Maybe there is even a bigger social stigma attached to it than there is here? Or maybe I just haven't looked well enough? After all, it took me a while to find a reliable forum like this one as well!
Does anyone know someone who works in Paris/has any idea of what the industry is like over there?

I'll be dipping my toes into escorting in France soon, so in anyone has any insider tips, I'm all ears ;-)

Will be visiting Calais and Boulogne-sur-mer for a few days each.

I did some more research, and what every French forum seems to suggest is that no agency would ever open in France because it would be closed down immediately. It's kind of weird because the laws in the UK are exactly the same, but agencies are everywhere anyway.
I have found some agencies located in Paris, too, but because of what I have read on the forums I feel kind of wary. They are all agencies who show nearly naked women so it's rather obvious that they are offering sex. I sincerely wonder how it's possible that those agencies haven't been closed down yet. It seems rather weird.
In the UK agencies aren't exactly legal either, yet they are there. They seem to be there in France too, but people seem much more convinced that they will be closed down. It's confusing.

French laws regarding prostitution are stiffer than the British law to the extent that the government is thinking in ilegalizing it completely and adopting the Swedish model.  Sarcozy's politics have been extremely tough regarding prostitution (there's presidential elections in france very soon so law might change god knows). Escort agencies in the UK don't get into hot water as long as they don't have an inside premises and it's "outcalls only" (I've heard it's due to some loophole in the law?). In any case advertising prostitution is illegal in France. So it's definately not a very "hooker friendly country" that for sure.  Plus couples cheat on each other like rabbits in heat, having a mistress is the norm for men and  swingers clubs are all over the place, so the demand for payed sex is pretty low.I've never worked there by the way but I've heard from a close source that agencies open and close more times than my bathroom door and french police are not nice either. I doubt you'll have any problems whatsoever if you're going there for a month and acting low key. Check out the subtleness of the internet ads, they can be funny sometimes. My "source" used to advertise on craigslist Paris and charge 300 to 400 euros (which is the regular rate over there, yes more expensive than in the UK).

Nope, it's a question of police priorities. Outcall agencies tend to be a lower priority because they generate fewer complaints, but if they are naughty in relation to tax or other trigger issues, they are going to appear on the police's 'to do' list at some point.

With the advent of elected police commissioners, this is going to get interesting: at some point, somewhere is going to elect someone with a thing against prostitution, in which case agencies there are going to have to watch out.

Advertising is now legal in french terrories (France and DOM, it can be different for TOM). The S?nat abrogated the law the 29th of march this year.
Still, "fishing" for customers in the streets is illegal.
