Wow, he actually got put away for his attack on the escort.  I dont know why but i really thought he was going to get away with it.  So celebs cant always buy their way out of it then.

I think he may off pulled it off if
A-Boy George had any real "status" or "connections".
B .- Boy George had any real money.
C - Boy George wasn't a laughing stock in most areas of society.

I agree with most of that except the money part.  He still DJ's doesnt he and i think in that world he still makes a pretty penny.  I looked after him one night when he was DJing in a club i worked at a few years ago.  He was a bit of a stuck up diva prick who thought he was better than everyone around him (how i didnt tell him that is still a mystery to this day but i managed to keep my tounge in my head).  I should imagine his attitude will be changing slightly tonight as he hears those cell doors closing behind him.  I havent got a tv so i havent seen any of the coverage but i read that a few of his hangerons were quite upset... but then, who will get them in to all the cool clubs for the next 15months.  they might have to go and get real jobs now  ;)

I have seen him DJ a couple of times  in the 90's and he wasn't that great, I have a couple of Renaissance Cd's and  he sounds better when heavily remixed. Do you think he makes that much money out of a couple of appearances here and there in the grand scheme of things?.   Its not like  he's a big DJ icon that has managed to transfer to a younger crowd or anything

I could be wrong but i dont think it is here and there.  I think he's around alot in Europe.  He probably dines out with sam fox and david hasslehoff in Berlin.   :D

I have fond memories of Culture Club, I remember a lot of us dressed like him (It was germany, I was still in school, ok)

But like so many other sucessful people, he let it go to his head and just turned into a pratt.

Remember he already has a record for wasting police time. Remember that story when he pretended he had been burgled and the police ended up finding drugs at his residence. That's when he was made to clean the streets of New York.
It's apparent he has very little respect for authority, and I'd imagine that both the police and the legal system have had enough of him.

I saw the documeny with  him ending up doing that sweep!! He was telling people to fuck off when they were driving past!!

Can you remember that actor from Coronation Street who played Fred Elliot (" I say, I say ,I say, whats goin on I say?") I can remember him having some scene with a escort who stole his money and ran off,but I think in his case he was telling the truth!!

And he didnt chain him up and beat 7sorts of shit out of her.  Good old Fred, I miss him actually.

Well he cant say he has not had an interesting life. I remember reports of him being at deaths door once back in the 80s.

Pressuming the story to be true, what a shocking experience for the escort.
