Hi everyone, need advice, I used to be agencies before turning into an indie, the problem is, my images are still being advertised, not on their main websites, but paid advertising websites that lead to their main site, you can find it via google search etc. I haven't been with them for a very long time, and no way am I going back. Is there any way I can get them deleted? Its rather annoying.
thanks for any insight x

A recent European Court of Human Rights ruling means you can now get things removed. Not sure what the rules are but you need to request the search engine company to do this via a form, told there is a huge back log. you need to fill out a separate form for each search engine i believe.

When I left an agency I googled my name + the agency name to find any adverts. A few were on directories, and they were all cooperative when I sent them an email requesting to be removed. It's in their interests too if they're a reputable directory to ensure their information is up to date.

pussycat did you send an email to the agency or to the directory webmaster?

I always sent one to the company who ran the website, most have a 'contact' link, or display an email address.
