I am now able to view bedpage in Northern Ireland. However, the very few adds under escorts (actually only 1 each day) dont have phone numbers displayed. Is this due to a VPN number (whatever that is?)
That's because the web has been opened quite recently and the owners filled it up with fake ads in order to 1) Have it climb on google rank and 2) encourage providers to post. It's a very common practice. Right now as the word is spreading providers are starting to post there, slowly and the directory is growing. You don't create a directory from scratch then have it filled with real ads next day and see your phones ringing. It doesn't work that way. Right now you have a mixture of real and fake ads, once people start posting real ads the fake ones will go away.
I'm giving bedpage a couple of months for the word to spread and turning into a proper backpage. Once this happens and the traffic to the site gets similar to the old BP your phones will start ringing, but it's going to take at least a couple of months (or more).
