I always accept bank transfers when people offer. The odd time it’s taken like 10 minutes but I don’t start the booking until I see the money in my account

Do you give them your full real name Alex?🤔
I give them an alternative couple of words to use instead.
This scares off roughly 30% when their bank warns them they could be scammed. Refuse to give my name though.

Some banks take several hours Nationwide for example and a few other 'building society' turned into banks.

He got annoyed and said no need to be rude and that he is trying to sort it out. The money was sent the next day.

He was rude in the first place in not sorting your payment out immediately, any other business would have called the police if a client got goods before he had paid, what a prick and if I was you I wouldn’t see him again!

No hun I give my work name, with banks now sometimes a warning comes up I think it’s something to do with incase it’s fraud or whatever but I’ve always done this with transfers & it’s always been fine x
