I wasn't sure where to post this - mods feel free to move if I've got it in the wrong place.
I bought a box of condoms the other week from Boots. Out of the box I've had 2 bursts with 2 different guys. Thank God the first time I felt it rip and the second time I heard it so I was able to put a new one on straight away both times. I know bursts can happen and it could just be incredibly bad luck, but it seems unusual to have 2 bursts out of 3 jobs and especially from the same box of condoms. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience recently or heard anything about there being a bad batch out there?
They were durex extra safe (the blue ones) and I bought them from Boots.
(I've thrown the rest of the box away to be on the safe side and will buy a different kind tomorrow).

Did you put extra lube the condom?. If it gets dry inside it can happen or they go to vigorously. If condoms break it doesn't mean a bad batch it could be several reasons.

I personally think 2 from same packet breaking could be a bad batch. A lot of people don't trust ebay sellers and would assume, like me, that Boots being a well know store would be one of the most reliable places. Well I've been buying from the same seller from ebay for about a year and had no accidents whereas a few years ago I bought some exs condoms from ebay. different seller, and 2 broke in succession like you so it's not that ebay as a site is good or bad, down to the sellers of course.
I never contacted the seller about the bad ones as they might just say I didn't use them properly. The same probably if you let Boots know but they would probably need lots more complaints to investigate anyway (that's if anyone wasn't too embarrassed to contact them) :-[. One break I tend to think not enough lube or something but 2 in a row sounds dodgy.

Yes I lubed and done everything I normally do. If only one had broken I wouldn't have said anything but I thought 2 was odd.

Thanks - yes thats what my thinking is too - one is bad luck but 2 is strange.
