I don't know were are u, but I'm in central London and 50% of my clientele comes from backpage. That's  A LOT of people.

If I wrote "White men only"on my ad  I most probably wouldn't get anyone. Not that there's no white men in backpage (most of them who call me happen to be white), but I believe "Only white people need to call me" doesn't look good.  It reminds me of those American theaters/buses in the 60's that had a section with a sign saying: "Whites only" or "blacks only".. Or those hotels that had a "No coloured" sign in the reception. Putting such a sign looks hostile and it's ...yes.. racist.

If I were to look for a plumber on google and so plumber had a "I only service straight people" sign on his website it would totally turn me off. I, fact would think he's a total as#$%hole and inmediately look for some other plumber.

If you want to see white people only because hey...that's your preference (fair enough: you're sucking their dick, not fixing their bathroom) you need to figure out a nicer/more subtle way of filtering  guys because the "Whites only" sign is too politically incorrect nowadays and WILL backfire, it's just awful marketing. Try getting rid of the sign and people will start calling again.

In the title it says "I see white men only" it also says this in the bio part, what else am I supposed to put? I'm not sure haha "Sorry but I only cater my services for white gentlemen?" I still think no matter how nice I make it sound that I see one race of men, it won't matter.

I've done this on adultwork and state very nicely "I only see white gentlemen" it's never been an issue. I don't get abuse from it (mostly anyway) but I tend to get a fair few non white men saying "I know you only see white men but..."

Surely if I state that I see one race only Asian men or black men wouldn't actually want to meet me right? But that's not the case it's like they see it as a challenge and want to try and make me make an exception for them. I'm a black female who only sees white men simply because I started out seeing all races and met TWO yes two men who were black and family friends which made me change my mind instantly, my heart isn't strong enough to go through that kind of scare again haha.

I'll try again this evening and not put anything about "white men" in my ad, and see how it goes I'll just have to politely ask their race when they contact me (I do this anyway)

Your reasons make a lot of sense, but I believe you should find another way of weeding them. Preferably on the phone. Just engage into some chit chat banter and be very casual about their ethnic background and their accents etc... Once you figure out they're non whites try to be as nice as possible with a "Oh Im so sorry but... I'm looking a my schedule and I have 3 hour session booked at that time...my apologies".

That does sound much easier to say than "I only see white men sorry"
I'm gonna try it, see how it goes as backpage seems to have some potential!

Back page works down south but I found it was totally useless for Scotland. 

I found it the same as you Milk Chocolate, that the vast majority were not white.  I just stopped even trying with the site.  I wasn't going to block up my phone line with guys I didn't even want to talk to.

In society racism is frowned upon and would guess that is why no calls. If I said that on my ad would expect the same. Try putting it more polity but not sure you can. Potential clients look then get turned off most probably. Even the white ones. It doesn't highlight the escort in a good light that's all.

I'm getting plenty of calls. Just no solid booking.
Plenty of calls from Asian men, and a few white men, they ask a lot of questions but don't follow up with a booking.
Calls aren't the issue.

I wouldn't say "I see white men only" is racist, just as many profiles on adultwork have an age restriction or some say "no overweight men" I'm just stating my requirements to save clients wasting their time contacting me and me not booking them.

I will try re wording it and see if anything changes though

Backpage hasn't worked for me since last October 2014.
