Hello everyone, i know this has been asked before but im struggling to find the answers....i have an agency interview and im unsure what to wear. I was thinking something casual but smart ....to show i have fashion sence rather than business attire. What do you think?

Also what do you guys wearing for your bookings if its an incall or outcall i dont own any expensive clothes will this matter?? Thank you in advance xx   ???

Hi angel.
When I first started out I was with an agency.
At my interview I just dressed in my normal clothes, ie leggings and a nice top !

For out calls I wore leggings (I literally live in leggings  :P) and a smart top, like a blouse or something from the 'career' section in shops. I wore flat shoes cause I was convinced I looked suspicious in my heels, so I always had heels in my bag!
For in calls, I done them from the agencies apartment, so I just wore my underwear and heels with a short satin robe over it! Or sometimes I'd wear a nice dress..wear what you feel comfortable in!! No point in wearing something overly sexy, if you aren't confident in wearing it  :)
Good luck honey xx

Not being funny but your not going for a job at some fashion store  ;D

As long as your not dressed like some frumpy granny and your clean they won't care what your wearing.

As for expensive clothing, there is no need for anything like that, hell most guys couldn't tell the difference between something from M&S or something from Donna Karan.

I mean I have had lots of compliments on the dress in my profile pic which cost ?20-?30 from Asda.

If you like expensive stuff then you can buy some once you are making money, but you don't need to have it.

I had an interview and the owner said "come as you would for an outcall" so I guess a dress is a must and hair/makeup top notch. This was ?300+ agency though

You could just ask them?
Maybe, ask if you need to bring any particular type of outfit with you?

I think the main thing would be to be well groomed, even if casual everything clean and pressed, perfect nails, good hair and make up, polished shoes and a clean handbag. (God, I've turned into my mother)

I think giving the general impression of caring about your appearance would satisfy them. If they care about what you'll wear to an outcall they would have asked you to come like that or will ask you during the interview.

I think it depends on the type of agency, there are quite a few different markets out there...I joined a well know London agency and they expected me to look like a hooker when visiting hotels ! I was told that I was too conservative and they wanted me to wear very short skirts, false eyelashes and lots of heavy makeup etc..also I had to come into London by train so this was not practical.

I quickly left the agency and had an interview with another one, they loved my more conservative look as that's what their clients wanted and told me that theirs was a totally different market..it was really interesting

Dress according to the image you want to project: if you go dressed in leggings and a top you might send funny messages.  Too much make up, with high heels and short clothes might give you away immediately and do not be surprised if people might smile seeing you like this during the day.

Decent clothes, decent shoes with a bit of heel, good hair and sensible make up will surely send the right message.  Remember that programme: Snog, marry, avoid.

Your choice.
