The good stress! a bit of healthy stress for all booking i think is necessary!
nervous not really! take a hot shower and enjoy it! maybe now not too hot! :)
after my screening i feel ok! not too safe never...just with regulars i feel completely relaxed and with some i can t wait to meet them!

I no longer work from my actual home, I do work from a property I own. My screening is very high for new clients, I'd say I get anxious rather than nervous, some have been quite indiscrete despite them saying they chose me for discretion reasons. Outcall which is majority of my business I get anxious about travel, getting there on time and negotiating accidents, road works and closures which are very common no matter where I'm going.

No I have never suffered from nerves with any aspect of this job and seeing a new and unknown client whether in my own home or not has always stirred a little pleasant excitement in me. Having regs visit time and time again is safe and comfortable but I do prefer to meet new ones just to keep my own enthusiasm going.

Another thread very recently on working from your own home covers this too and several members here have responded to it there. We are always working with the risk of not knowing what lies ahead in a booking and as I have said before this can make a lady hesitant to take bookings but that risk is what spurs me on.

Screen and screen again is my advice with any new man.  Only yesterday a new client told me I turned him down over a year ago because he "didn't sound right" on the phone.  He said he was nervous which was probably true as yesterday he must have made an effort to sound more normal as he came along and was lovely! Fit and fun too!

Taking a chance is what it is all about in this job.

I was just about to search for a thread for anxiety/feeling anxious whilst working and how to calm it down. Do you have any tips? Because I'm the same. I worry so much when it comes to meets. Incalls I feel slightly better as I'm surrounded by help if I need it but I now wear chunky rings as knuckle dusters when on outcalls

I must admit I feel more nervous when doing an outcall to a hotel but having said that I don't really get nervous, I just walk through like I own the place. Since I started working from home the outcalls have all but ceased. My home is my domain and my sanctuary and we play by my rules, so no I don't x

I used to work from home.
My system was one month of advertising then a long period only relying on my regulars base.

Each time I had my adds on, I was very anxious for the couple of new clients.
anxious to the point of having panic crisis and even giant urticae twice.
To sooth my mind, I double checked everything (OCD lady here!) :
- All in place
- Security procedure
- Reminding how the guy was talking to me and why I accepted him
- Yes, I'm good at screening and my gut instinct never failed me (repeat endlessly until having it engraved in my brain)
- We play on my field, I'm the one in control
- Telling me how I'll make the client happy and enjoy myself during the booking

I also found out that having all ready, myself included in advance, in order to have a nice time doing embroidery or crocheting (very soothing activities for me) before the appointment in question was very helpful.
