Yes this happened to me on the free advert, after trying to post it many times and not showing i tried a different email account and it worked.

I tried posting with a different email and it showed up ok. No idea what's up with that and very annoyed that I lost the ?24 I paid for the sponsored ad that isn't showing  I wrote them on monday and still no reply so I'm sure I'm never seeing that money again 

Just an update, I finally managed to talk to someone from Backpage and they were very helpful, said sometimes the system blocks some ads by mistake and promptly solved my problem. Ad backup and no money lost 

Hi Latrice, Could you please let me know how you contacted backpage? I've tried a few times before to ask them about missing ads via their contact form and never received any reply. I paid to bump a few ads to the top of the listing today but I couldn't find any of them by clicking through page by by page and using ctrl-f to search for the ad title. If I search in the search field one of the ads shows as 2nd of June which I think is the last time I bumped it before bumping it today. Another ad I posted from a different account comes up in search as "additional ads". Not sure what that is. I don't think clients look at the sponsor ads on the side and I'm sure they don't look at the sponsor ads at the bottom of the page. It seems like if you pay to repost automatically you're never really bumped to the number one top position. I think your ad just gets bumped as part of a batch that's due to repost that hour. Paying once off to bump an ad to the top sometimes works but sometimes the payment goes through and the ad never appears.

The free ads on backpack now only display under the 'sort by date' tab which no one looks at!!
