"Why are you being so secretive?" he was probably an address collector anyway it's like a 5 minute walk from that car park there isn't a reason why they can't do that I don't want people constantly parking up in the residents car park and annoying the neighbours.

"Secretive"?  Some punters are seriously indiscreet you wouldn't believe >:( ::) ::)

I wonder if they would be happy if we were indiscreet about their address to the point that their parter / all mates know what he is up to :D

Had a prize prick turn up by taxi unbeknown to me because I banned taxi clients after all the advice here, he called from the taxi to get my door number which pissed me off then after spot on instructions he knocked at the fucking wrong house! I don't know how I did the booking, I was furious.

Sorry for the swearing needed to let off steam.

That is annoying Nina.

I had a guy today arrive parking OUTSIDE my house whereas I had specifically stated TWICE to PARK AND WALK UP in capital letters to mine from the neighbouring road.

I sent him back around the corner.

Why can't some men think??

I was so angry and when he finally got in his words were "Sorry i fucked up" yes you did! Luckily that neighbour is very old and not quite with it which I know sounds awful, that's it now with taxis it's always a pain in the arse.

I work in Central London in a block of flats on a quiet residential street. I don't really mind if they come by taxi, as long as it's not an Uber as they are always late if they come by Uber and then they think they can wait for the return Uber. Next time I'm going to tell them to pre-book their cab as someone suggested.
I don't really worry about taxis being indiscreet due to the fact that I'm in a flat. But now I've read this thread I will ask if they are out of the cab before I give my flat number.

I prefer clients who come on foot from the station as they are more likely to be punctual - I find those who drive are always late as there's no parking where I am. In fact I would often turn down bookings if they say they're coming by car as I know it will be a pain. But I guess being in Central London is completely different from everywhere else.
