It isnt that at all. its just the word isn't respectful in my opinion that is nothing to do with him x

I think you are right to have your own opinion of how you feel about the word whore. We are all different and open minded in certain situations and can get offended easy too.

Personally for me i do not get offended by the word whore and do not care if we use it on here or prostitute or sex worker or escort. I am fine with whatever someone wants to use but i respect your view on not liking the word and understand it. To be honest though if a client came in to me and started saying i saw this and that whore and A and B whore, i would think that is bad manners to use that word to us by a client it is getting off on the wrong foot and could be seen as a aggressive communication.

Yes i agree it can have that association and some people can use it to be nasty towards someone. I def get where you are coming from in certain situations.

Any word can be used in a derisory way depending on who is using it, to whom, and how. If I was concerned about being a prostitute I probably wouldn't be having sex with strangers for money.

Back on topic now, I think :).

I just had exactly this happen to me.  Also 10 months.  We were actually practically living together and introducing each other as our partner.  I slid right into cooking and just generally fussing over him (no cleaning).

He didn’t ghost me, he’d just begun heavily nagging me to “get a job” and not be “a 40 something voluntary invalid.”  I explained to him that I might want to go back to my old (office work) profession, but if I did that, our relationship was sure the hell not going to look ANYTHING like it had.

I only charged him what he had been paying for his weekly 3 hour appointment. That covered my expenses but I lost so much earning potential. I loved him. He said he loved me. No- he loved having a bang maid, but not even enough to keep paying my bills.  I broke things off last month.

I’m broken hearted and also now I have to start all over, with no base of regulars, during a pandemic.

I wish I could say this is the first time I fell for that... It’s the second.     :-[
