Are match days even worth advertising on?
« on: 16 June 2024, 04:59:46 pm »
I’m not from England so not really interested in the match nor do I follow football regularly anyway but is it even worth advertising today or is it safe to assume most of them will be down the pub or in front of the telly?

I probably would think it’s going to be quiet today, I was also thinking of not working tomorrow either as they may all be hungover?! I know a regular of mine said he best come later in the week as it will be a heavy session on Sunday and will be hungover for a few days

Well not everybody is interested in football and not everybody is English, plus some will use it as an alibi to grab a bit of free time. As far as tomorrow goes, in my experience hungover men like to punt.

I don't work Sundays or Mondays anyway, but while I wouldn't expect it to be mad busy, taking your ads down seems a bit extreme? Why not just leave them and see what happens? :)

I agree with this I have regulars who aren't bothered by football, and as I have always said throughout my life - match days mean roads/gyms/other things are quiet. They are unlikely to be held up in traffic for example, can also be more discrete because so many are focused on the TV or in the pub.

I also often notice football on in the background during cam sessions...outwith major championships. Maybe it makes a good cover, or maybe they still want sex!

I think tomorrow could definitely be lucrative men get a hang over horn that’s very hard to overcome lol. You’ll have a lot of hungover men that are horny and can’t bust one out 🤣

I noticed with football on the clients would visit earlier if games were later.

I never get the hungover guys! It’s always quiet for me on days like this so I’ll tend to make up for it later in the week

Busy day today I think England plays on Thursday like 5pm so I may finish earlier. I don’t work later than 7pm anyway.  ::) But I remember the time when I had to take a month off because of football. All matches was in the middle of the day and I didn’t have a single booking  :FF

Football tournaments are usually busy -  be prepared for the rush.

I have seen it start today. I'm booked up for the week ahead and more serious people wanted to see me today than I could fit in.
