Location Dilemma
« on: 27 May 2011, 12:06:16 pm »

Hi everyone

I think one of the reasons Im struggling getting started is that Im in a new city thats completely different to what I was used to.  I have told the landlords I will stay another 6 months from July 1 and I was planning in that time to get everything sorted.  I also want to move back to London as I miss it and all my friends etc.
So as soon as I get a photo shoot done, hopefully in the next few weeks after I get back from holidays, Ill get my website done too.
I dont know that I feel comfortable starting down here in the S. West so seeing as Im in London almost every week I was thinking to do 3 days incall there each week.
What should I say on my website and ads?  Should I say London based but part time availability.
When in Bristol I wont be doing incalls at my place so I would say touring South West  if I get a room or hotel room on such and such day?
Should my ads all state London as my home base?  This seems like it should be the case.
thanks
Emma

You might simply say: "I'm an  escort available in Bristol and London " and show a calendar on your website when you are in each of the locations.

The thing is, you want to make things as simple and clear for clients as possible, especially on AW. AW is a busy and confusing site even if you aren't a horny so-and-so, so you can't really afford to risk increasing client confusion with multiple locations on different dates.

I think, therefore, that your idea of simply completely changing your location details on all bits of your profile depending on where you're *currently* working from is best. Sure, you'll still get the "I thought you were in Bristol/London/Lebanon/Peru?!?!" queries, but if you save a template email that says: "Hi, and thank you for your enquiry! I'll be in x place on abc dates and in y place on these other dates. Do call or email if you'd like to book. Thanks!" and fire that off in response to any non-booking-specific emails, that'll save you a lot of time and stress.

If you're mostly in London then all you have to do is write up and tell people your London availability, except when you're "touring" Bristol. It shouldn't be too difficult - I know more than one escort who successfully works from very different locations using their AW profile to advertise. :)
