I self harmed over 10 years ago and I have a few white knife marks just up from the wrist.
Its very embarrassing as a few clients have noticed and some have been sympathetic (sincere or not I don't know) and some haven't said anything but I can see them staring.
I have worn long sleeves a few times and not got naked as the odd guy isn't bothered about me being undressed but these are usually quickie meet guys, being naked is 99% of the time part+parcel of being a hooker so any creams or anything that you know about?
One of these days the knowledge of my dreaded scars are going to end up you know where, help!!
Thanks in advance x

Bracelets? If jangling bangles annoy you, perhaps something with a leather cuff?
A more long-term solution may be a tattoo.

Yeah the tattoo idea sounds quite good actually and it wouldn't look out of place over the scars.
I've tried bangles but yeah jangling put me off :(
I will deffo look into tattoo though, I always said my limit of tatts is 5 and I have 4 so its doable!!
Thanks Daisy x

As with people worrying about stretch marks or cellulite, you are far from the only person with such scars, and as you have discovered, the vast majority of clients don't notice or are sympathetic or don't feel able to ask but don't have any problem with them.
Some people use make-up to cover them, and a search here should find some examples.

Tattoos are great for covering scars :)

may be a Laser treatment instead of tattoo?? you could find a cheap deal!

I have self harm scars and I don't bother hiding them.... they are part of me and my story.
Ive had clients asking about them and Ive told them the truth, on the whole they are sympathetic or will tell me they have suffered with depression too.
Have you tried bio oil? I used that for a while and it made them less visible, it will never hide them.
Apart from a tattoo I would suggest wearing a fishnet top that can be pulled up to reveal the puppy's but will provide some coverage of your arms.... when I wear mine the customers don't even notice the scars.

There are some good high coverage foundations on the market that can hide the darkest tattoos so could probably manage scars, although not sure about it rubbing off during sex.
I'm sorry this is an issue >:( people should be less judgmental.

I use camoflage/ high coverage on both 12-18year old s/h scars and more recent surgical scarring.
Atm im using mehron brand, it is sooo hard to get off once its on especially with the fixing powder and spray, but this is good for clients as it wont come off on sheets/clothes or with sweat/a quick shower. Only issue i have is with some fake tans ive found this brand to have too many reddy hues, so maybe shop around for one matches your skin tones? I'd also reccomend using a corrective kit (like you would use for spots etc) underneath any camoflage make if they are newer or youve recently been in the sun so they go pinkish. I use a green on boob job scars as still pinkish, also works to even out the texture. Youtube has some fab videos on this btw.
(Alot of ppl like the rio one but pwrsonally it gets everywhere and has no staying power imo) I did have an amazing brand i got from amazon, ill see if i can find out what it is if you want.

I have the same problem myself. Buy dermacol coverup it's great! For me though personally I don't want to hide it as it's a part of me, and I am beautiful flaws and all and have learned to except that every part of beauty has flaws. Most clients don't notice as they are too busy looking at other things but the ones that do notice I tend to just be honest with. It's a part of me that I have worked hard to overcome and I am proud of the better person that it has made me today so I tell them that and they never have a bad word to say. Don't be ashamed of it it's part of you and you are beautiful inside and out.

Girlies thanks for all your advice, I really didn't expect there to be so many things I could use/do!! You girls know everything, lol, I thought I was knowledgeable!! :)
It is silly that I'm embarrassed by them but you can't help how you feel, if only.
I'm gonna try the covering up things first, again thanks for all your tips xx

Long sexy gloves, without the fingers, like the fancy dress batgirl types. they stop at your wrists, they are very sexy, you could use them as a trade mark type to go with your outfits
-
A tatttoo would cover it up also if you did not want a tattoo you can get foundation that cover tattoos and scars you might rather try that xx

I second that. Dermablend is great. Have a look at some of the tutorials on youtube. It can make a tremendous difference. I use it on my legs to cover varicose veins and spider veins.

My best friend had really deep and severe scars from harming herself as well...
She covered them with a tattoo and is really happy. If you don't know it, you really won't see it. :)
It's just incredibly important that you find the right artist. Not everyone will do it and not everyone has the skills to.
And yes, as the other girls have mentioned, Dermablend works really well, too.
