I have got a lot of emails recently asking for "incalls," which I don't offer. I state this in a reply occasionally instead of ignoring the email and a shocking amount reply "I mean an incall to such and such a place..." Would anyone else think "incall" must surely not mean an outcall or would you pick up on what they meant? Anyone else had confusion due to misunderstanding over escorting/internet terms, on the client's part or yours?

What!  You're telling me it isn't.  I get this one all the time.   

If I have ever had an email re something similar I usually just email them back explaining their mistake.  There must be lots of terminology in lots of fields that we wouldn't understand and would have to have them explained to us so it is only fair we do the same for the guys who don't understand our business.

I do always email back when it's obvious they've made a mistake or don't know what something means, rather than it coming across firstly as if they just haven't bothered to read my profile at all. I know what it's like to sit confused with my friends that work in IT haha!

When I first started, I would get (by email/text/cam) "bb" - I thought they were asking for bareback, until it was explained to me on here that it was txtspk/1-handed typing meaning "babe"

I've been in the same situation... Having to explain what "hardsports" (which I don't offer but he'd read elsewhere) means to an elderly client. The best thing about it was that he had the kinkiest oddest little fetish which he could explain in minute detail but at the mention of poo he went "Oh, heavens above, and I thought >I< was a dirty old man!" I'd love to see him again just from that snippet of convo
