Any one worked for R G E in the USA?
« on: 14 September 2011, 11:55:16 am »
I've been contacted by an agency in the US called rude girls entertainment who get ladies from the UK to work over there. The money isn't fantastic but it seems like a fun working holiday.

I've been trying to get hold of one of the girls that works for them for a reference but her phone is unavailable. She responds to email. She's on AW so I've no doubt that it's a spoof person set up by them to allure young ladies over to be trafficked.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Sounds like a scam. There's no such thing as a 'fun working holiday' when you're breaking the law (and if the money doesn't sound fantastic when they're trying to lure people in, God alone knows what the reality is like). I find it incredibly hard to believe that there aren't enough prostitutes in the US for them to recruit from, so there must be a reason why they're deliberately trying to get people out of their comfort zone, and I doubt that reason is pleasant.

I would just ignore it. If you want to go and work in the States, you can do so independently as I and other ladies here have and whilst it's harder and more timeconsuming than here because of the law, at least you're in control  :). And the money is pretty damn good.

those were my initial thoughts but thier reason was that girls in the Us are arrogant & want more money...and that the clients don't want the US girls chasing them. Hmm, I said aren't there any ex pats who you can recruit etc etc. The woman has been calling me everyday but I've been in discussions about getting a dog shipped over (I'm a breeder) so she's just been talking about that.  It does seem like she's trying to win my confidence & that rings my alarm bells or she could just be being nice!

I'd love to work in the states but have commitments at home so the idea of a few days every couple of months is appealing to me.  I still can't get hold of the girl who's supposedly worked for them, no surpise there.

As an American, I will tell you that we are no more or less arrogant, though sometimes we are rude and forget to send a thank-you. But, it is illegal there. It looks really appealing as escorts are verrrrry expensive...Eliot Spitzer, former governor of NY State...google him... And so I can see how they would try to tempt you with big$$ but there is a very high risk, and anyone who has dealt with US customs and immigration will tell you they have NO sense of humour....

Urg. The comment about US girls would put me right off anyway, and someone who's working that hard to get you on board is probably bad news. Like Amy said, just do it yourself if you want to. You can post in the touring section if you want advice.

thanks ladies, the more I think about it the more put off I am. I did think she was rude generalising american ladies too.

Clearly, we all have our arrogant moments, but  I should think that the illegality and risk is probably what propels the demand for more money!

Hi Emily,

I've worked in the US for a couple of years. Yes you make more money than in good ol' Europe and sexual services are pricey than here. But working over there (as you well know is ilegal) so you have to follow a lot of "safety steps or procedures" in order not to get arrested. Unless I had a trusted friend at the other side of the atlantic ( in the business) willing to guide me thru the a,b, c's of the business I would not do it. This woman sounds like someone running a (dogdy) escort business. She's probably going to work from a different premises than the one were you are actually meeting the clients (that's what they all do in order not to get arrested). she's not going to filter calls properly as she doesn't care about you getting arrested, all she cares is the money she's going to make with you. If you get busted by an undercover cop...tough luck! She'll be safe taking calls  someplace else.  American WG's are fully aware of the importance in  clients screening process, and that's why she's looking for newbies or naive girls not familiar with the a,b,c's of the US sex industry. My advice: Don't put yourself in the hands of this woman because she doesn't sound like good news.

The website looks crap but plausible, however I'd call it an obvious no too. ?130/hour for escorting is not going to leave you with much, ditto the $4k-$6k for three days given the costs of getting you to the US have to come out of that.

In addition to what they've said, a few days every month = you'd spend a lot of time jet-lagged, here and there.

Sorry why are you critisising my hourly rate? & It's actually ?140 an hour and most girls in my area charge a lot  less!!

She wanted to pay me ?1200 for three days work for "companionship only" which isn't enough to get mysefl to Gatwick out of my own pocket & pay for dog sitters etc.  But of course the client will give me cash for shopping etc etc.

I have a client with contacts in the US looking in to it for me he says their fax number & contact number area codes are all in different states.

I am not criticising your hourly rate!

The RGE site reckons clients pay ?130 an hour for escorting services. They will take some of that, leaving the escorts with less (probably less than ?100/hour).

?400/24 hours is not very high and $4k (the bottom of their quoted spread for three days) is ?2,500ish, so they'd be taking more than half what they're charging the client.

'Get to Gatwick' = they pay for the flight? If they're buying, that'd mean they have all your identity details...

And once you're there, you either need to enter into the awful (and illegal) 'I'll do x for $y' negotiations or accept whatever he might give you on top.

It's not uncommon for phone numbers to be in nominally different places. As well as virtual fax services (they send faxes to you as emails) there are an awful lot of redirection services, so even an NY number, say, doesn't mean the phone actually rings there.

I read that as you need to pay to get there yourself?

Now I have just done a quick search of a couple of their "recruits" and both are plastered all over foreign sites, interesting when they are meant to be in the UK

I got bored after those 2, but I bet there are more.

Sorry xw5 I'm a bit tired today & didn't realise they had that on their site.

Thanks for the links anjali, that's intersting. I know one girl on there kaz b she's a porn actress & has been on TV. I met her once in my modelling days but they say she's never worked for them because her fees are too high. So why havn't they taken her off the site??

It was interesting twhen I asked a bout the modelling side & "custom videos" she couldn't get off the phone quick enough.

And miraculously she still hasn't sent me the phone number for the dog breeder that lives up the road (well 2 hours away)

So why havn't they taken her off the site??

It's not exactly unknown for crap agencies to have pictures of people they don't actually have. It's 'bait and switch' - the client expects Ms Porn Star and is expected to be glad when Ms Someone Else turns up instead. The main problem is that it's Ms Someone Else there in front of the disappointed client, not the idiot who thought it'd be a good idea to use other pictures.

This woman is persistantly calling & emailing me, now  saying she can arrange a shuttle for me to get me to the airport & is offering me the phone numbers of her girls to give me a reference...
