Address collectors/no shows

I'm aware with this line of work the occasional no show is pretty normal, however lately it's been happening to me every day I work either once or twice.
How often does this issue arise with others please?

I get very, very few,  but I'm in a location where the men tend to have better things to do with their time than mess prossies about. Are you getting them to confirm on the day/nearer the time, and are giving out your full address when they book?

You can also have a standby list for when you need to rebook a time quickly; just ask anybody who wants the same booking if you can text them in the event of a no show (some will understandably book somebody who can definitely see them, but some will wait). I'll get them everytime i go available, Had one even say he had parked up and when I gave instructions to my apartment and texted if he was here yet, He said he could see the door. He wasn't even there and then blocked me when i tried ringing him or her. Really peed me off, I had an hour to spare so with his contact number I signed up for loads of free call backs for all sorts of annoying things lol

With most I can tell they are just address asters so I give them a postcode and road that's nr but not mine and then they don't book.

I check all there numbers on saafe and i have a app that brings up if they have reports for no showing so i avoid most of these pricks that do that but sometimes it still happens or they get new sims to do it as they probably know they built up a reputation.

Try to get them to confirm again nearer the time or when they are leaving for extra confidence that they hopefully will show and make a point of explaining that if they need to cancel please do the right thing and let you know. If they don't confirm you know they probably will not be coming. Ocassionly even if someone confirms and says they are outside or down the road they could still not turn up but then you know that is very deliberate.

Prior to using deposits I had a lot of these, and some awful mess arounds - saying they are nearby, nearby, near, on their way...

So I didn't give parking postcode until on the day, with directions to a sighting place from there I would point out my front door (which was actually better to be pointed out because so many used to get it wrong (and some still did despite the door being large, a different colour to neighbours and big number right by the door). This cut down many no-shows BUT did not alter cancelations/reschedules.

None as I now ask for deposits before that quite a few !

I find that the rare occasion I put my available today on it brings all of them out !
