Ann Summers lube products (irritation)/ gag reflex?
« on: 17 February 2013, 10:33:34 am »
Hi,

I dont want to go off track here, but I wanted to ask a couple of things both of which are really important.

I was on call last night for the agency but never got any work. I have a boy mate who I see intimately (nothing to do with my work whatsoever) so he came over for a few hours for some fun. He is the only guy I may add that I ever do bareback with.

With clients, I ALWAYS use condoms, but never any lube. I never seem to have any problems either e.g. urine infections etc. Last night, me and my friend went in with no foreplay as it had been a while since we saw each other, but after a while I started to dry up. I remember I had a bottle of flavoured Ann Summers lube... but as soon as I put it on, it started to burn. It was really sore actually. However, he was also quite well endowed. Anyway, my labia is the size of I dont know what this morning and it wont go down and is VERY sore. I washed it carefully in the shower with no scented products in the hope of getting away any traces of semen, lube etc. It is still sore now though. What could have caused this and is there any way of bringing down the swelling and pain? I am working later, and I dont want to be screaming in agony if I get a booking and a client tries to put it in.

I also have a question regarding gag reflexes and blowjobs... again, both got a bit carried away last night and I took the whole of his cock in my mouth so it hit the back of my throat. My gag reflex set in immediately and I was sick everywhere. I was so embarressed to say the least.

Have any of you ever been sick whilst giving a deepthroat BJ and is there anyway of controlling it?  ???

Lil, I cant go down on guys cocks deep throat otherwise i would get gag reflex  and be sick . The lube you used, would you be allergic to it, had it expired also?.
If you sit in a warm bath of just water it may make you feel less uncomfortable down there.I had sex with well endowed guys a few times in the past and there wasnt enough lube i felt dry and sore, i sat in the bath as suggested and it really helped.
hope you feel better soon x

Ouch.

Flavoured lube can be stuff you wouldn't want near your genitals (or mouth, quite often, although many people find a flavour of a brand that they like / tolerate), and even some unflavoured ones can sting if you've got sore bits.

Depending on just what you're feeling, you can consider wrapping a towel around a pack of frozen peas and sitting on that. A new (sealed) packet works best and you can mark it so that you don't eat them: peas that have been defrosted and frozen and defrosted and.. are not going to be edible. Or use a towel around a hot water bottle.

You can also plonk your bum in something like a baby bath or similar. Obviously this is something best done without an audience, but...

IME, overcoming the gag reflex is a matter of practice, being prepared, and positioning. There are going to be several million websites on how to do it :)

Currently been sitting with a freezing cold compress on my bits, still swollen like a balloon though :(

@ the bit in red.  How do you know YOU are the only one HE is having unprotected sex with .............. sadly you dont unless you spend 24/7 with him (I know a bit of an exaggeration but you know what i mean.)

As for the lube, there is probably an ingredient in it that your skin has an allergy to and it has affected you in this way because of this.

I could never get carried away that much that I would try to deep throat a guy, I know what my gag reflex is like and  I just refuse to do it.

Hope things settle soon though it looks like it might be a toughy tonight if you do get work.  Sometimes its best just to take time off till we are fine again.  No sense in irritating an irritation  ::)

Cheers Lady Lust :) as for the how do I know bit, I have known him long enough that he's not an idiot, and if my STI results would show different down there, I would have nothing more to do with him!

Lolita, none of us keep our partners under twenty four survelliance - if you know him well and trust him implicitly, you've as much reason to believe him as any of the rest of us, especially if your checkups back things up :).

As for the reaction, it's a bit late now but if you've got any anti-histamines knocking about (Clarityn and so on) they'll help calm things down if it's an allergy. And the gag reflex thing is just a matter of practice - mine's pretty much gone because I don't do OWO (so had to get used to the teat bit of condoms) but just keep at it if you want to do it and you'll get used to it in the end.

Well pleased to say my labia bits have shrunk back to a relatively normal size but by God it hurts when I sneeze or go for a pee still!  :-\

You've obviously had a reaction to the lube I've had that happen before. It will probably become irritated and sore again even the skin splitting if you have a client that wants sex then you are back to square one. It's better to rest and let it heal.
Hello nice to meet you :)

Hi Jan,

I treated what could have been the start of bad cystitis last night and the labia has gone back down to normal size. It is very quiet for me this week with the agency so I am hoping by the time I do get round to seeing a client again, it will have totally healed.

Im glad to read this has now gone down.  I had something very similar in the new year , the swollen lips can be just a bit of bruising ( as im sure it was in your case as its gone by itself without treatment)  , but theres something else you can get called a  Bartholins-cyst

http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Bartholins-cyst/Pages/Symptoms.aspx

Basically its a blockage in the gland where our natural "lube2 comes from , and ist quite common and normal.....knowing that its "normal" didnt stop me going into a complete panic mode though as i heard all sorts of horror stories about women having to have it surgically popped ect ( ouch !!) .

My left lip was poking out of my bits and VERY sore , hurt to walk , sit down , sex work was deffo OUT of the question. I treat it at home in the end after reading some online advice , so do try this if you suspect one ......its good to attack it fast before it gets massivly swollen and puts you out of action for sex-work for days/weeks .....

buy as many huge bags of salt as you can and bath in warm-hot salt baths as many times a day as you can manage , it helps to draw the infection out.

get some "brudiolleine" antiseptic cream and TCP from chemist. MIx a few drops TCP in with a good blob of the cream , apply to a round flat cotton pad and place it over the affected area ( the gland is actually on the outside of your lip and not the inside wall of your vagina - you will prob be bale to "feel" where the blockage is due to the pain there!!) , leave overnight.

Id had the blasted thing for over a week , misdiagnosed by a doctor who said "bruising" ( wrong!!) , the first night i did the cream + TCP method  , when i woke up in the morn it had popped ( gross i know) , with a huge relief of pain /pressure . one more nigth of salt bath + treatment it was gone and everything was "back to normal"

I know this is gross story but just getting it out there as my doc got it wrong and id never heard of a Bartholins-cyst in my 35 years either !!

oh , and dont put the neat TCP on or near your delicate lady bits !! It is too strong and can cause a nasty burning rash ............ make sure to DILUTE it with cream or water . I find a bit of TCP in the salt bath doenst do any harm either ( smells awful though !)

I also forgot to mention that i realised my "blockage" had come about from a sesh where id used LUBE. Im sure lube use is perfect conditions for these cysts to come up ............I only use lube if i really have to , lucky most of my clients know how to lick pussy and turn a girl on , but those who wont lick pusy and have huge cocks is when the lube has to come out.
