Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but...............

Does anyone have any advice as to how you deal with hair removal on your more ermm private areas?

Before i started escorting i used to just get a Brazilian wax every three weeks or so but obviously in this game clients don't really want to see the in -between regrowth and I'm not keen on feeling like the wild woman of wonga anyway ;D

So now I'm finding myself having to shave and sometimes pluck (ouch) every couple of days and lets just say the developing rash may soon be enough make any man without a strong stomach head straight for the nearest exit!

Any suggestions would be very very much appreciated.

(I'm blushing now)

I use a depiliator.  Some women find these to be agony, but I swear by mine.  Personally, I find shaving any body part unbearable, but then again some women swear by this. A good depiliator will set you back ?70 but in the long run this is MUCH cheaper than waxing, even DIY waxing.

Ouch lol might be good idea so but I am wondering what you would do re: the 'in-between' times.  Ok, it probably takes a lot longer for regrowth but you still have to wait for the hairs to be long enough to be able to use the epilator I presume.  One idea might be laser removal - only works on darker hair as light or grey hairs cannot be detected.  It also might take a few goes but often underarm and bikini are offered for around ?40 per session and on average one might need to do it 4-5 times.  But for a permanent removal that might be well worth it and waxing is not that cheap either.  I am definitely toying with the idea as a friend had it done and was really happy with the results.

I use an epilator for my legs and bikini line and I don't find in between days a problem except when I've been slack about it, but even then I can shave instead and it's only a few days before I've grown back enough for the epilator. The bikini line is hideously painful to get started with, but surprisingly comfortable when I'm just keeping it up. I expect shaving off the whole top bit wouldn't be much worse.

However, I don't think it can be used on the labia, it would grab the skin when I tried it, so I still shave there. My shaving tips are: any day you don't need to shave, don't; try using oil (no need for fancy shaving oil, cooking oil is fine); use good products (I like Mach 3 and King Of Shaves original); if you think you're going to be irritated, point a cold shower at your bits after shaving.

Hello All

Well, I used to go for waxing and went for the full Hollywood (yes very very ouch!!! especially first time and right down below) - just my preference to have the whole lot removed.

So anyway last year the salon had a deal on laser removal (IPL I think is the term) and offered me the full lot off for ?900 (half price at the time - although in hindsight I should have done more research and looked around for price comparison).

So anyway the laser treatment began last year and I was offered six sessions for that price.  The only problem is that I had to wait four weeks in between each session but could shave in between but not use any fake tan nor sun bathe the area.

After the sixth session I have to say I was disappointed as there was still some minor regrowth which I took up with the salon and only then discovered that the girl in question had misled me as they only ever stipulate 80% removal after six sessions.  So anyway I opted for three more sessions at a discounted rate and have to say I have only had one more and am really happy now.

I am going to have two more sessions soon and have to say I am really happy now as there is barely any regrowth and the two final sessions will remove the rest permanently.

The area is really silky smooth but the only downside has been the shaving in between as I could not wax nor use any other form of hair removal in between but I would say it is worth it.

HOWEVER I have to warn you IT IS DAMN PAINFUL!!!!!  I thought waxing was bad enough but laser removal (especially the first sessions) is really painful and can you imagine me having full hair removal - particularly right underneath - it was very sensitive!!!!

Nevertheless, I am now happy I have done it as I was getting fed up with the waxing and also shaving constantly was not something I liked doing.

In any case, it is individual choice but if you go for laser you have to perserve and be prepared to fork out a lot of money and also realise you have to wait a month in between sessions and from what I had done it has taken literally 9 sessions, but then I had full removal so a brazilian might not involve so much.

They offered me the same for underarm and legs and I said NO WAY!!!

To be honest I used to get my underarms waxed and legs waxed too but now have gone back to using hair removal creams on those areas and occasionaloly shave underarms........

hope that all helps

Thanks for all the feedback ladies

Its fascinating to hear everyones different methods.
I'm considering going for the epilator method i think,Ive got quite a high pain threshold thankfully.

I'm finding using babyoil when shaving and then applying it afterwards helps with stubble rash and irritation,Johnsons seems to be the best one (for me anyway)

Never considered permanent hair removal but it would be heaven to never have to wax/shave ever again, although knowing my luck i would get it all removed and then big 1970s style bushes would come back into fashion ;D

another quick point

there are some aloe vera based lotions/creams you can get which you apply after removing hair - these help with any side effects like soreness etc

yes the whole flipping year of putting up with hair removal has finally paid off - some would say was it worth it - now i say yes although i am sure i could have got it a lot cheaper if i had shopped around.... but would not do laser again due to costs so am shaving now underarms !!!

but hey down there is smooth as silk!

have a great day
A xx

Is it really necesary to be hair free in the nether regions, I have fairly sparse growth of any body hair, for instance I have none in my armpits, so hope to get away with staying natural. ???

No, being hair-free isn't necessary. Not everyone buys into porn fashions (and since so many women do, the men who don't like it will go out looking for girls who don't shave it all off).

I keep myself in a Brazilian style,i cant stand to have no hair at all,it just makes me feel like a little girl. I prefer to keep the rest smooth for hygiene reasons as much as anything but thats just my personal choice.

As Anika says not all men go for the bare porn look,i think the best thing is to just wear your hair the way you are happiest with, you cant cater to every taste and I'm sure you will find plenty of men who like a more natural look. ;)

Funnily enough, the only guys that ask me of I'm smooth or hairy, are timewasters. I've had very few customers that have asked. And if they have, it's more of a request to be natural. It seems to be a requisite for bare facesitting.

I do get the odd client telling me he thinks I should shave it all, but bugger that. I tried it once and it was horrible. I got one who didn't understand why I had any hair, which disturbed me a little. It's bad enough that hairless legs and armpits are considered mandatory, variety is good!

I personaly believe in variety too, but I suppose the business woman in me wants to make sure I get as many   things right as I can to make this venture a success and a good experience too and if that meant 'loosing some fur' so be it.  ;)

And you'll drive yourself nuts in the process trying to get things right. The problem is, in this business, it's hard to please everybody. Most customers aren't that bothered whether you're shaven or smooth. If I've lost work not being smooth I can honestly say it'd probably about 2 or 3 bookings at most during my career.

On Wednesday I had a guy call making enquiries. He also asked if I was shaven or smooth. In that same breath he asked if I was married or single. I asked him what that had to do with making a booking. Just wondering, he says.
