I live in a city aprox 200,000 as well. 7 years here working from home. I've seen a couple of clients in Asda. Had a couple of messages on AW to say 'were you in so and so pub yesterday' and that's about it. Thing is it isn't a problem for me but if it's an issue for you in your situation then you may find the anxiety it may cause you becomes a problem.

Rare. It's happened only a few times, I ignore them as I look very different off duty and they've got no idea it's me. One time my reg came into my restaurant with his little boy and his Number 1 Hoe who I recognised from her profile and TV appearances. I was with someone who'd fucked her in my studio which I rented to him for the meet. Small world! The last one one was in front of me in the supermarket with his kids. I think it's amusing in a thrilling way. Gives me the giggles.

I did an outcall to a client who lives 10 seconds away from my home. A reg lives 3 minutes away in the same estate. Never bumped into either of them.

I'm stunned by the creeptastic Uber guy Celeste. :o
I think it's good for people to have blabber mouths than keep their secrets to themselves-best we know what's going on in their little heads.

I don't Outcall in my own town as I am too paranoid.
Occasionally, I will visit the little satellite towns that surround it, but it does make me nervous.
I have an odd logic that says, If they have a separate Asda, Aldi, Tesco, health clubs and swimming pools, then they probably won't darken the doors of my own  8)

I wear glasses for bookings and not in real life.
I don't think that fools anyone but it might give me a few minutes head start to shuffle out of view in a bank or cinema queue for example.

I would be beyond mortified if any client called me by my working name in the company of others, even if they thought they were being discreet.  :-\

I think also what puts me off is that I work in a central hub of my town essentially. So many people come and go and the risk of being scene, even with a different look, and potentially recognised would mortify me.

And for someone to spot my name tag with my real name and call me by my work name in front of my colleagues again would just kill me.

Not sure it’s worth the risk. I can’t always hide in my civvy job. I’d be like a fish out of water mouth  agape haha!
