I am a mature Escort from the north west and I also began at the age of 40, a year and a bit ago..

I only do outcalls and I have never advertised on adultwork ( just personal choice though ), so I can't help you there,  but others will be able to tell you.

For me, it seems to be quieter earlier in the week and picks up by Thursday for sure, but no two weeks are ever the same for some reason. For the past fortnight I have worked every day and most days twice ( which for me is a heavy load as any booking takes a 2 hour round trip!  ) I can see why you would prefer to accomodate incalls, but I actually enjoy the routine of getting ready, packing my bag of outfit/toys etc. going on google earth to check routes and distance, firing up the ol' Sat-Nav ( but then I'm a bit of a Geek! ).. and best of all, the drive to the booking as I have my music blaring and am excited and anticipating the booking. On the journey home by contrast,  I listen to plays on radio 4! ( A tip; avoid the shipping forecast at night if you want to stay clear of the central reservation on the M6, it is SERIOUSLY soporific!  )

Out of every 20 bookings on average, 10 will be in their 30's,  5 will be in their 20's,  3 will be 40's and 2 will be older than me which may surprise many.. It's quite rare for me to have calls from clients age 60.
I tend to specialise in the fun/dressing up/role-play genre so maybe that's why?

I have NEVER shown my face anywhere and have never sent a prospective client a photo.
In my experience, the best clients are simply not bothered and trust their instincts.
 However saying that, they are visibly relieved when I turn up on their doorstep and tell me I look better than they expected, so there is a plus side to this!
