Adultwork

Hello Ladies!

I'm looking to do a bit of escorting for a couple of months, I need the money to move you see.
I've obviously thought about it a lot and read the site and forum.

As I'm only planning on doing it for a couple of months I don't really see the point in making a website with fancy pictures and what not... So I may just make an adultwork profile.

I'd really appreciate some input from ladies that use adultwork, like how much work do you get from the site? are the clients okay? etc.

I've noticed the feedback system on there, and I was also wondering if that gives you a good idea if the client is a timewaster or not?

Any input at all would be greatly appreciated :)

I use Adultwork. Users with zero feedback and more than one alias can waste your time. Also those who send a one line message written in txt speek.Or longwinded fantasy messages, How much for a bj messages etc, etc, etc, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!
When I was new I was swamped with TWs for several months, it takes time to weed them out. I insist on bookings made through the site usually.
Escorting may seem like a great solution that you can skip into, make a few K then skip out of but its really not.
Think very carefully before going ahead. But then thinking about it and doing it are two very different things.

I also have a Q about AW (hope you don't mind me piggybacking your thread, Alice24!)...

I registered today but haven't set any profile up - haven't filled in the sections etc. I was planning to take time over this, add to it as and when I have spare time. BUT how does this work with the "new member alerts"? Is a 'new member' one who has just joined? Joined in the last week? Fortnight? Or whenever their profile is updated?

I only ask as I keep reading that new members gain a lot of interest initially, and would hate to lose that initial interest by taking my time to get my profile in shape. Hope that makes sense!

:)

(thanks again, Alice24!)

From what I know, new members are those that have just joined. I don't know how long you have though, as I never noticed it on my profile... I'd get yourself set up as soon as poss just in case. It's free publicity after all :) You can always go back and keep revamping it!

I always insist on bookings being made through the AW system - tends to put off those that just want to waste my time, because if there's a booking you can then leave them negative feedback should something happen. The feedback system is good if the person has some feedback, but sometimes you may have to take a risk on someone who has just joined...Equally, they may just pick you to be a pain to.  I just listen to gut instinct and assess the risk. Clients as well are going to vary - I definitely prefer AW to agency work because you can weed out people and it's not really drunken men late at night... My profile is also a bit 'I don't stand for it' as well, so that may help, I don't get much trouble. Hope that helps somewhat? x

Thanks for that :) I'm completely new to the scene, so was trying to take things slowly - I guess I'd better stop dragging my feet and dive on in! :D
