So I've learned from https://saafe.info/main/questions-and-answers/not-been-paid-by-a-client that PayPal is not a good way of accepting payments from Clients. This fine for most people. But I have one lovely regular client from NYC who I do half hour webcam bookings for and I don't want to lose him. One of my friends suggested bitcoin, but he's in his 60s and I doubt that would be ideal for him. Can anyone suggest any other ways I can take payments from him without risking losing my money?
I discovered yesterday that CashApp now works for payments from the US to the UK and vice versa.
So my client has done a bit of research of his own and has said that he's found reviews saying that CashApp is unreliable. He's suggested a website called TransferWise (TransferWise.com) that he said gets good reviews.
You could also get him to send you an Amazon voucher. I do so much Amazon shopping that it's like cash for me at this point.
