Advice for Working in Australia
« on: 20 June 2015, 02:48:57 pm »
Hi

I'm seriously considering moving to Aus for a month or three
I've heard it's legal and heard about friends of friends who've done the move and love it both for sun and professional fun

Please anyone who's been there and done that in the last 5 years, share your advice

Safe to work alone in your apartment or hotel or shared house with other girls?
Ok to work indie or better with agency?
Best seasons?
Average price?
Best locations?
Best websites for advertising?
Top agencies in Aus?

And whatever else you think is worth knowing

I have also been considering working in Australia for a few months and I would love to hear what others have to say.

From what I understand, you would need to apply for a Working Holiday Visa, which allows you to stay in the country and work for up to a year if you are aged 18-30. I know other people who have worked in Australia using this visa, and they have all told me it is easy to get one. I don't know anyone who has escorted there, however, so I'm afraid I can't say what it's like as an escort.

Paris will be along soon and be able to fill you in.

One thing I know she will say ... It's very very expensive.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Lol and the exchange rate dollars to pounds is shit now way less than when I used to go

The longer you go the better it is money wise as it becomes cheaper
One month you might break even maybe more if your lucky

At a rough guess Your looking at around ?1500 a week min cost when you factor in flights / advertising , internal flights , accommodation for a month.  as your flight will take up a good chunk
Yes you can get flight for ?500 but I think I generalky paid around the ?700 mark
Advertising ?100-?150 a week
More if you do newspapers
Accommodation depending on where you stay can be hideous. ?150 -?200 a night for a travelodg in Perth
Winter is more expensive
Avoid school holidays
I found it to be the safest place I have ever worked
Wouldn't go back because it's to far ,
I was interrogated by customs and realistically you need to go for a few months and hike I can do a month 3 months is to long

You can escort legally if your on a working / holiday visa
You can't if your on a tourist visa ( 3 months )

I did Perth

So the authorities will ask you how and where you have been working? I'm interested in how easy it is to work as an escort from a legal point of view.

Do you need to declare how much you have earnt? What is the tax situation? How did customs react when you told them you were an escort?

Sorry for the flood of questions.

If you're on a working holiday in Australia you do pay tax, but you claim it back. One place I would suggest avoiding is Victoria. There is a licencing system and you have to be registered to offer full sex, which means either outcalls or working in a recognised brothel. Perth is easier and more lucrative although it's not as good as when there was a mining boom.

I too am looking to go to Australia. So v keen to know what others experiences have been.. I'm over 30 so can't go on a working visa, so am a bit worried about getting caught.. I'm going to australia anyway travelling and am currently saving cash to go. It would be good to know that I can do some escorting whilst I'm out there though, to top up my cash . :)

A working holiday visa is normally one year
A tourist visa where you can't work is 3 months
Not sure about if it's just a mobile phone I bought a spare one when I went and don't think I had to

But for SIM card you did have to show your passport when I went and it's probably not changed
you can buy a SIM card when you arrive.at the airport I reccomend Vodafone
And you  can use your hotel as address for the paperwork

Although I bought a vodaphone SIM card of of ebay and registered on line before I went using a made up passport number and different name and a hotel address and it worked fine

Im more than happy to help any girls if you have questions. Maybe you would be willing to share a few inside tips with me also as Im moving to the UK end of this year and need help your end also :)

Ive worked in Brothels and Independent all around Australia for the last 8 years on and off, and know all the ins and outs :) Ive found it very lucrative, safe (because of the laws) and met some amazing woman from the UK that fly over here regulary.

I heard there is an age restriction for some visas. Not sure if it's still the same. If anyone has that info it might be good to mention here so that no one gets false hope then gets let down.

Not really.... Only a couple of ladies use it, change your Location settings and have a play with it. In all honesty, Aussie punters won't know what adult work is. There are 2 major websites for booking independents xx

Do those sites need working visa proof? X

I think Paris said you have to have a registered to work visa and supply the number when placing an ad anywhere. It's not like here where you can flannel your way around it. They don't make it easy for you that's for sure.

Paris has posted many times how she was held and questioned in customs for nine hours and you have to make sure all your phones and iPad or laptop is cleared of all adult links. They have their ways of finding these things on iPads etc that we don't know about.
