Have a read of this: http://www.saafe.info/wheretoadvertise.htm. Everybody is different and I do think that factors like location come into it - I get quite a lot of work from Punternet and Punterlink, plus a smaller amount from Adultwork but a surprising number also come  straight from Google to my personal site. It also depends to some extent on the way that you promote yourself - I would probably get more from AW if I had a private gallery or did webcaming and so on, but I'm just not interested.

It is worth finding out about smaller local sites and forums in your area too - I am on a few of these and have had some good regulars find me through them. The majority of the bigger sites are free, so even if some work better for you than others it shouldn't cost you too much finding out  :).

For indies in London London Escort Guide is also a good place and not overly expensive considering the amount of traffic they get

Hi Kat

People have mixed views on it but i get quite a lot of clients from advertising on Vivastreet, its free to put an ad on as well. Also i find Adultwork gets me quite a lot of clients, also if you have a private gallery you can make money from that alone via the credits system they have there.
I think no matter where you advertise you will get your tws and your genuine clients, its just a case of sifting through them.

Not anymore it isn't. As of yesterday you now have to pay ?7.99 for a 30 day listing. So basically ?8 a month for a listing where you become obselete after you drop off the first page.

Select an Escort is one that seems to get a lot of hits too, Escort Vision also. Make sure to just slightly alter the wording on your profile every now and again on all the ones mentioned every so often as it brings you higher up the search list.  ;) And exchange banners on your website withthem, but keep a check on them.
find out exactly how and why a man hoping to escort women for a living has more chance of plaiting fog, and better earning prospects on Jobseekers Allowance.

Yup! I wasn't on it for long. I actually signed up because a couple of members on here recommended it. I had success with it for my Manchester tour last week, so I put up a couple of ads for London.
When invited to repost my ad yesterday, it took me to a page asking for my credit card details, informing me that it's now ?7.99 for 30 days.
Short and sweet is all I can say.

Theyve clearly worked out the earning potential our ads could offer them. I wonder if any of the other sections are now going to be charged or if its just the escort section? Its very annoying, the only possible plus side i can think is that it might weed out all the '3o min quickies for ?40' adverts that spring up in my north east section and leave more room for us professionals (i sound rather snobby there but you know what i mean)
