advanced 30 mins booking Friday lunch time dilemma
« on: 20 June 2018, 05:11:02 am »
;D how you handle a request for 30min in Friday.
Usually is a busy time of the day and as i am low volume if i take it i ll miss potentially 1hr or more booking.
already happens and was frustrating to miss a booking more longer so more money!

should i fix a condition Friday lunch time not possible 30 mins booking? or contact me morning time same day early?
my rates are very interesting for 30mins so...quite cheap! LOL if you compare to others ladies on my area!

a part it...just notice that guys that booking for 30mins they always missing in their email duration ??? happens to you as well!
maybe is a strategy because they may think that for me is not `a convenient or best request`??

Thank you for all tips how to handle it.

I no longer accept advance bookings, so for me I'd just tell him to contact me on the morning.

I'm the same as VC
Tell him to call on the day an hour or so before to see if your avalible
I no longer take advance bookings unless it's a very good regular client

Or it fits in with my day like first thing but I wouldn't take an advance booking for an 30 min appointment anyway

I would say a good 60 % of advanced bookings cancel anyway or do not even show that courtesy to let you know they have changed there mind.

I had the same cancel rate even at short notice (in fact higher).

I agree with you there had 6 bookings reserved in yesterday and i just knew some would not show so ended up doing 2. This is the worst downside for me of this industry the amount of no shows or deliberate ones who just want you're address and pretend to be there then the occasional pervert walkout that just comes for a look those ones never usually have feedback either.

This industry has made me trust no customer i am suspicious of them all until i have the money in my hand and they leave at the end of it in a normal happy fashion.

with regular will be different!

anyway it is not honest but in case i could cancel a 30mn booking. i never do it but LOL time to change!
so will be depend! i prefer advanced and i do not have so much cancellations hopefully! ahah i hope that stay like that!
anyway it is the part of job! xx i do ask deposit for some..when you are low volume cancellation are so detrimental for my business! and specially for my moral!  ;D ;D

I hate the sitting around being “on call”, so I usually just do advance bookings. I find it best to get them to drop me a text the evening before to let me know they’re still good to go and then a quick phonecall on the morning of the booking to confirm they’re still coming for the booking.

Just curious, those that don’t accept advance bookings , what are the reasons for that?

I'll take them the afternoon before for an early booking because I need to know in good time to get to my flat, but not otherwise and even then I only pencil it in vaguely until they've confirmed on the morning unless I know them well. I just want them to call when they're as certain as it's possible to be that they can make it, turn up, punt and go and the less time there is inbetween all of these stages for something to fuck it up, the better :D.

I have a couple in my phone who are so flaky and disorganised in terms of cancelling/pissing about with the times that they're not allowed to book unless they're actually on their way into town, despite being fine in actual bookings. One is one cancellation off being blocked but for as long as he contunues to turn up when he calls and I'm available in fifteen-twenty minutes or whatever he's fine.

Plus I like to have my options open at the start of the day. Like everybody else, I don't always want to go to work :)

I take them when I'm at home 🏡 n my work flat but even then it has to be in the morning so 11 or 12 and for a min of 1 hr
When touring I don't take them unless it's in the morning so around 9 am /10 am and if they want earlier than 9am tbook the night b4
If it's a regular client and I know who it is then I will take advance bookings  I have 2 two hr on Friday and a 90 mins next wed but they are both regular clients that I have known for years so I have no problem with them booking In advance

The main reason I don't take them is because I generally find they are messers and often  flakey they often have a "important meeting" which means they aren't sure of what time

And I like to keep my options open on my day and if I've hit my target or I'm tired then I want to finnish up not wait around for someone who booked last week and may turn up

A perfect example is that a guy  emailed me yesterday via AW  asking for an appointment today

I didn't even bother to reply because I know he has not read my profile at all.
I know this because I'm on holiday in Morrocco ATM and it clearly says on my profile I'm on holiday and back at the end of the week .

I do accept advanced bookings unless my instincts tell me otherwise . By advanced bookings I mean 2 days in advance or more .
This said , I have found that more often than not , even the best meaning clients (regulars etc... ) have to cancel ... because life happens . In my case as a mature escort only working  daytime weekdays , the majority of my clients are attached . Their bookings usually coincide with a meeting in my area , the opportunity to skive of work , a game of golf , the wife planning to be away etc . And alas things don't always go according to "their" plans , meeting cancelled , wife not going , car stuck at the mechanic for longer than planned and such like . The redeeming feature is that they usually cancel in plenty of time, days ahead or at least several hours so I feel that it doesn't really affect my business. The very few that cancel at a hours notice or less get blocked .

Whilst I agree with opportunity there are attached clients who just never have the need to cancel, and yes their booking depends on meeting or other reasons. These are the ones I'm interested in and cultivate, used to put up with allsorts - these days I won't and as a result cancellations although not unheard of are rare.

This just shows how interested they really are in booking you do not even bother to read you are out of country also these types even if they did get a booking they have perfect excuse to say oh i was looking for X service which you do not do so they get a free look then walk.

I don't even like taking half hour bookings at lunch in the morning, half hours are difficult to work around because most people want hours, there is nothing worse than having a half hour possible  booking mid day
