Has anyone here used their site? They sent me a text today and it looks like they're trying to copy Adult Work, which could be good or bad depending on your point of view! I'm going to do a free profile and see what happens. I've done a search on here and can't find them mentioned anywhere.

Well now I know why these ten a penny, knocked-together-in-half-an-hour poor man's Adultwork clones continue to send out these ridiculous spammy text messages to fill up my BlackBerry's vast blocked number list. It's your fault ;D.

I still get calls because of those directories that put my ad on 4 years ago but they show old photos and old rates. Grrr

Just had a peek at "adult way"
It really does look a little a 'poor-mans' imitation of adult work.
Not only were they not very creative in their naming of the site (for obvious reasons!!) but the design of the website I find very uninspiring.
I would be concerned giving my details/photos etc (and especially credit card details if you have to buy any credits) to any 'non-established' (hence more creditable website).X

Well I've not bought credits. I just did a free account and the only info they have is what's on my website. Not had a peep from it though. I thought being a newbie I'd get the usual time wasters, but not a dicky!

Well I got rushed into hospital two weeks ago and grabbed my work phone by mistake. After a dozen spamming texts from this guy I text back explaining I was in hospital and took my work phone by mistake and could he please stop spamming me for the next week or so as I had to have surgery and needed to keep the phone free for calls to family etc. He then started ringing every couple of minutes, texting me with threats that he can do whatever he wants and I had better watch out or else, etc etc etc After 3 days and nights of this the Ward sister actually phoned the police as his voicemails and texts were getting more and more violent in nature.
The police now have all his voicemails and texts and will be investigating.
I will however say to avoid this site like the plague as its owner is obviously at the very least mentally unhinged and at the most a danger to any woman who dares to even politely disagree with anything he chooses to do.

They keep spamming me from different numbers - every time I block one another pops up, and I've texted back asking them not to spam me about six times. God, what a twat.

I've seen complaints from guys who are receiving spam from the same place, they are convinced it's service providers passing their contact details on, and aren't particularly happy about it.

This is really confusing. I have no idea how AWay got my number as I have never displayed it as all my bookings are in advance. But I got spam. I can not get my head around how they have got my number. It is on AWork, but not displayed!

I had yet another one midafternoon yesterday from a different number and just told it to fuck off; I've responded to all the others with 'Please stop spamming me' and I'm sick of it. I now find I have a missed call at 3.39am this morning from same number (there's a voicemail I think, but I don't use VM so it'll just get deleted) whom I'm guessing rang me to rant entitled crap in the middle of the night.
Another Australian number (and the number being Australian doesn't mean the caller is in Australia) and blocked. There used to be a number these texts could be forwarded to to report them - I'll have a look when I get in and post if I can find it :).

There is another thread about these guys on another forum saying pretty much the same thing. I've just had my first text from them today. I wonder how long it's going to be before I'm inundated with them like the rest of you are. :(

Had texts to one of my numbers that has NEVER been publicly shown ANYWHERE today. The only place it has been used is as a number (not displayed) on AWork.
Text was asking me if I would like to join AdultWay as AdultWork is down.
Find it all quite odd as I know where the number has and has nit been used, as I have a few sims to say the least.

Hi I just received a text today from AdultWay-asking if I'd had problems with AW today & to create a profile with them-I searched but can't find them! Glad I found this thread though! I wonder if I will get more from them,oddly I have had either 3 or 4 calls from someone else offering me a profile on their site(can't remember the name) a website of my own & an 0844 number.....all for the 'special promotional price' of ?199!!!!-they said they had seen me on Adultzone.....anyone else had this?
I don't know where AdultWay got my number like a lot of you....

Must be something like that, because I know I put a certain sim number in there as my phone chat number and it was never used/displayed. I'm 100% certain that it has never been used elsewhere or displayed etc.
Considering how easy it is to attack, would not surprise me if this had something to do with AW going down.

Please be careful. You don't know what sort of nutter he is and some people don't take at all kindly to being insulted. You don't know who he is, yet he might try and book you or make life difficult :-\

If they're sending out loads of texts, you can bet that they are not paying much for them, wherever they say they are from.
If they do have a copy of the AW database, this seems an odd way to make money from it. Or does no-one get rich / famous clients from it?

Same price as texts UK to UK. Probably an unlimted texts deal like we can get.

This would also explain how they got clients' numbers- booking request forms! You need to leave your number when placing a booking.
It's actually quite scary, and I don't believe girls are giving out their clients numbers to some random adultway guys. They must have copied the database!

Two more texts telling me that my name had been put into their search engine by no less than 7 different people. Well if the same people had put my name (not Lady_Lust_XXX) into google they would have found my website and directories im on anyway. Go away Adultway.

from what I can gather they are taking random numbers of people I have had several texts from different numbers one was a lady she stated that she had no knowledge of the site.so the only thing I can think is that using random numbers taken from people .I do know there are sites that allow free texts for all I know my number could be used I no longer reply to them and just block them as they appear...

Using a brand new sim card my OH called a local escort that was advertising very cheap rates, there was no answer and no reply to the text message sent, that was done last Tuesday.
Yesterday we had a text message to the same phone The text read "hi I can do an appointment today if you are interested? I am online now at adultway.co... if you want to arrange" No direct link to an actual profile, just a general promotion of the site.

I had a weird text the other day asking Did you try and book me (whoever me is???) through Adultway yesterday? Er, well no, I don't think I would, would I?? I just deleted the text without making a note of the number but it was from a UK mobile number beginning 07717 if I remember correctly.
